      Thomas Hayward Clerk Produces to the Court here his Commission from the Honrble Philemon Lloyd
       Esq.r deputy secretary of the Province of Maryland as Clerk of this Court which is approved by the
       Court and the said Thomas Hayward accordingly admitted Clerk there of upon takeing the severall
       Oaths appointed by Law whereupon the said Thomas Hayward takes ye severall oths appointed by
       Law and subscribes the oath of Abjuration and test &c

Practice the Law
 The Humble Petition of Alexander Hall humbly sheweth that your Petioner is
desirous to practice as an attorney in this Court prays your Worships that he may 
be qualified in order thereto and your petitioner as in duty Bound will forever pray

                                      Whereupon all and singular the Premises by the Court being Considered the said Alexander
       Hall is accordingly admitted one of the Practioners of this Court he Qualifying himself as the Law directs Whereupon
       the said Alexander Hall takes the several Oaths appointed and subscribed to the Oath of abjuration
       and test

 Command was given to the sherr of Sommersett County that he should take Anthony Moore
of Coventry Parish in the County of Sommersett Planter if he should be found in his Baliwick 
and him should safe Keep so that he might have his Body Before the Justices of his Lord
               County Court of Somrsett to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of March next to answer
       unto Robert Martin of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.c and that thereof he should not fail &c
                And whereupon the said Robert by francis Allen his attorney Complains that Whereas the said
       Anthony the thirtieth day of November Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty two at the Parish
       and County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the said Robert in Eight hundred and
       forty six pounds of tobacco for Levies Sherr.s fees Publick dues and forbearance thereupon to the said
       Robert then and there due owing and unpaid as by an acco.t thereof hereunto annexed may in Court appear
       and being so thereof Indebted the said Anthony in Consideration thereof afterwards to witt the day and year
       afd at ye Place afd upon himself did assume and to the said Robert then and there did faithfully Promise
       that he the said Anthony the afd Eight hundred and forty six pounds of tobacco he the said Robert when he
       should be afterwards thereunto required he would well and faithfully pay and Content Nevertheless the
       said Anthony his Promise and assumption in afd form afd made Lettle regarding but Plotting and fraudulently
       Intending the said robert in that part Craftelly and Subtelly to deceive and defraud the afd Eight
       hundred and forty six pounds of tobacco to the said robert he hath not paid or to him for the same in any
       wise Contented altho' the same to do the said Anthony by the said Robert on the first day of December in the year
       afd and often afterwards at ye Parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction afd he was thereunto
       requested but the same to Pay or in any wise to Content hath refused and still doth refuse and deny
       whereupon the said Robert saith he is worse and hath damage to the value of sixteen hundred and
