          Assembly of this province Now in force in Such Case made & provided &c
On the back of the foregoeing presentm.t it was thus Endorst viz.t  Billa Vera James MccMace Foreman
                   Thereupon Command is ^was^ given to the Sherriffe of Somersett County that he should take the said
          Katherine Ryne of Coventry Parish in the County afd Spinster if she shall ^should^ be found in his bailywick
          and her Should Safe Keep so that he might have her body Before the Justices of his Lordships County
          Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of March then next to answer unto
          his Lordship Concerning a presentm.t against her found & that thereof he should not fail &c
          Att which said third tuesday of march to witt the seventeenth day of the same month ann Dom one
       thousand seven hundred & twenty three being the day of the return of the afd Writt Cometh the Sherr of
       Somersett County and make the return thereof to the Court here Endorst in these words following viz.t
                                                                                           Cepi Corpus   Jos: MccClester Sherr
             Whereupon the said Katherine Ryne being sett to the Bar (Presentmt read) is thereupon
       Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses afd above Imposed on her says that
       of the premisses afd she is Guilty thereof & submitts to the Mercy of the Court & makes oath that a Certaine
       John Sayler is the Begotter of the Child she stands Indicted for & is willing to pay her fine for the fact
       afd               Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Katherine Ryne be fined
       to his Lordship the Lord proprietary the sum of thirty shillings for the fact afd thereupon the said
       Katherine Ryne is ordered to give security for the paym.t of the fine afd and the severall officers
       their fees by occasion of the premisses afd thereupon a Certain Jeffery Long of Somersett County Gent
       master of the said Katherine Ryne present here in Court pays thirty Shill.s for the fine afd & Enters
       into recognizance in five pounds Curr.t money to be Levied on his Goods & Chattells Lands & tenements &c
       In Case he doth not pay unto the severall officers their fees that accrued upon the presentmt afd by
       occasion of the premisses afd      Whereupon Its Ordered by the Court that the said Katherine
       serve her said Master three full months to Commence from the Expiration of her servitude it being
       adjudged by this Court to be full satisfaction for one halfe of the damage trouble & Loss of time that
       the said Jeffery Long was at at the time of the said Catherine Ryne's Lying in with Child ^afd^ &c

Somersett County fs.t     The Jurors for the right honourable the Lord proprietary of

this province that now is for the Body of Somersett County upon their Oath doe present
                            that John Sayler late of Coventry parish in the County afd Planter the tenth day of September
       One thousand seven hundred and twenty two at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this
       Court Committed fornication with a Certain Catherine Ryne against the Peace &c and also against the form
       of the act of assembly in Such Case made and provided            L Gale P Lord P P
       On the Back of the foregoeing Bill of Indictm.t it was thus Endorst vizt Bill vera Adam Heatch Foreman
                Thereupon Command is Given to the Sherr of Somrsett County that he should take the said John Sayler
       if &c to answer &c and Now hereafterwards to witt this seventeenth day of March one thousand seven hundred
       and twenty three Comes the said John Sayler in Custody of the Sherr and being sett to the bar (Indictm.t
