123 afd with good Security but for want thereof the said James Feillett is Committed into the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County there upon the said sherr present here in Court took Charge of the said James Fellett accordingly &c Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that Richard Tull Richard Plunkett and Robert Melvin give Recognizance in five pounds Curr.t mony for their appearance at next Court to give Evidence on behalfe of the Lord proprietary against James Feillett &c Thereupon the said Richard Tull, Richard Plunkett & Robt Melven all present here in Court acknowledged themselves to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and successors in the sum of five pounds Curr.t mony Each fe to be Levied on bodys Goods or Chattles Lands or Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary in Case the said Richard Tull, Richard Plunkett and Robert Melvin do not make their personall appearance before the Justices of Our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek in Somersett County afd the third tuesday of November Next to Give Evidence against James Feillett on behalfe of the Lord proprietary for that his being suspected of uttering falce Ev Cause &c Ordered by the Court that the Sherr of Somersett County Search the pocketts of a Certain James Feillett & soe whether he hath any Counterfeit Spannish Coin in his pocketts &c Whereas there being a debate between a Certain William Robinson and a Certain Daniell Cordery in Relation to Certain Orphans Called W.m Stevens & Mary Wharton &c and the Court haveing heard their severall allegations It's Ordered by the Court that that the said William Stevens ^orphan as afd^ Continue under the Care & Tuition of the afd Daniell Cordery untill such time as he shall be of full years of Choseing his Guardiant the said Daniell Cordery to Learn him to read and write by the time he shall be of full years of Choseing his Guardian afd thereupon itt's Ordered by the Court that the said Daniell Cordery Give Security for the performing of the same &c Thereupon the said Daniell Cordery acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said Lordship the Lord proprietary which William Stephens his heirs and assignes in the sum of twenty pounds Curr.t money to be Levied on His body goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of the said William Stevens in Case the said Daniell Cordery doth not Learn him to read and write by the time that he still arrive to full Years of Choseing his Guardian afd &c Likewise John Caldwell and Jno Pitts of Somersett County acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said William Stevens his heirs and assignes in the full and Just sum of five pounds Curr.t mony Each to be Levid on their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands or tenements for the use of the said William Stevens in Case the said Daniell Cordery do not Comply with the Covenants afd in Learning the said William Stevens to read and write by the time that he shall arrive unto full age of Choseing his Guardiant afd &c
