And the said Isaac Noble in his Own proper person Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &c and
prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill ^the^ next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the plft
also      Att which said next Court to witt the twentieth day of august ann Dom One thousand seven
hundred and twenty three Comes again as well the said Plft by by his attorney afd as the said deft in his
Own proper person afd and the said deft says that he Cannot gainsay the plft his action afd so as afd
against him brought nor Can he say but that the said plft Ought to recover his damages by Occasion of
the premisses afd to the sum of twelve hundred and Eight pounds of tobacco and Costs of Suite against him
which the said plft does not Gainsay &c
             Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the same day and Year Last mentioned that the
said Robert Martin Recover against the said Isaac Noble as well the sum of twelve hundred
and Eight pounds of tobacco Certain damages afd in form afd Confessed as also the sume of Two hundred
(244)   & forty One                                    pounds of tobacco by the Court here adjudged unto him for
his Costs and Charges by him about his suite in this Behalfe Laid Out and Expended and the deft
in mercy &c

 Somersett County fs  Ann Shiles of Stepney parish in Somersett County Spinster
was attached to answer unto Timothy Adkeson of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c
                            And whereupon the said Timothy P George Dashiell his attorney Complains that whereas the
said Ann in the month of July ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and and twenty two at the parish and
County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the Said Timothy in the Sume of two pounds
Ninteen Shillings and Eleven pence it being for sundry goods and Merchantdizes which the said Timothy
at the Speciall Instance and request of the said Ann sold and delivered as by acco.t thereof hereunto annext
may in Court appear and being so thereof Indebted as afd the said Ann in Consideration afd at the time &
afd did upon herselfe assume and ^to^ the said Timothy then and there did faithfully promise that she the
said Ann the afd two pounds Ninteen Shillings and Eleven pence to the said Timothy when she should be
