       And whereas also the afd William Layton the Grand father in his Life time to witt the seventh day of september
       Ann Dom One thousand Six hundred and Ninety four at ye Parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction
       afd by his Certain Other writeing Obligatory did acknowledged himselfe be Bound unto the said Right
       honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore in his Life time in Nineteen hundred and twenty Pounds of good
       Sound merchantable Leafe tobacco in Caske of the afd six thousand pounds of good sound merchantable Leafe
       tobacco and Caske to be Likewise paid unto the said Right honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore when
       he should be thereunto required.  And whereas the said William Layton the grand father in his Life time
       to witt the twenty third day of October One thousand Six hundred Ninety four at ye Parish and County afd
       within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his Certain other writeing Obligatory did acknowledge himself to be
       bound unto ye said Right honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltimore in his Life time in Nine hundred and
       sixty pounds of good sound merchantable Leafe tobacco and Caske to Contain ye same of the afd six thousand
       pounds of good sound merchantable Leafe tobacco and Casque to be Likewise paid unto the said Right
       honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore when he Should be thereunto required.  And whereas also the
       said William Layton the grand father the afd twenty third day of October ann Dom One thousand six
       hundred and Ninety four afd at ye Parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction afd by his Certain Other
       writeing obligatory did acknowledge himselfe to be Bound unto the Said Right Honrble Charles Lord Baron
       of Baltemore in his Life time in seven hundred and twenty Pounds of good sound merchantable Leafe
       tobacco and Caske residue of the afd six thousand pounds of good sound merchantable Leafe tobo and Caske to
       Contain the same to be likewise paid to the said Right honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore when he
       should be thereunto required and by the said severall writeings obligatory the said William Layton
       the grand father did Bind himselfe and his heirs Nevertheless the afd William Layton the grand father
       nor the afd William Layton his Son and heir in their Life time nor the afd William Layton son and
       heir of the Last mentioned William Layton decd tho' often thereunto required the afd six thousand pounds
       of good sound merchantable Leaf tobo and Caske to Containe the same unto the said Right honrble Charles
       Lord Baron of Baltemore in his Life time or to ye afd Margarett Lady Baltemore after ye deceas of the
       said Right honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore have not rendered but the same to them to render
       have denyed and the said William Layton ye grandson and heir as afd the same to the said Margarett
       Lady Baltemore to render still doth deney and unjustly detain to the retarding her in the Execution of the
       last will and testament afd whereupon she saith she is worse and hath damage to the value of twelve
       thousand pounds of tobo and thereupon she Brings Suite ^&c^ and she Brings into Court here as well the
       severall Writings Obligatory afd which ye Debts afd in form afd do wittness whose dates are ye Days &
       years afd as also ye Letters testamentary of the afd Right honrble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore dec.d by
       which it Plainly appears to ye Court here ye said Margarett Lady Baltemore to be the Exrx and thereupon
       to have administracon &c         Allen Prt Pledge deft Jo Doe R Roe
                Att which said third tuesday of March to witt the Nineteenth day of the same Month ann Dom one
       thousand seven hundred and twenty two Being the day of the return of the said Writt Comes the said
