1723 101 seven pounds of tobacco by the Court here adjudged unto him for his Costs and Charges by him about his suite in this Behalfe Laid Out and Expended & the defendent in mercy &c
six pence and four hundred pounds of tobacco and when you have the same attached or any part thereof the same in your Custody Safe Keep so that you have the same Before the Justices of Our County Court to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of august next to satisfie unto richard Holland as well the sume of Eleven pounds one shilling six pence and four hundred pounds of tobacco Costs of Suite together with all such Costs as the said sherr shall accrue upon this our Writt of attachment and that by good and Lawful men of your Bailywick you make Known unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the same attachment that he she or they be and appear before the Justices of our said Court at the day and place afd to shew Cause if any he she or they have why the same goods Chattles rights or Creditts so attached shall not be Condemned in his her or their hands according to Law for and towards satisfaction of the and Costs above specified and how you shall Execute this Writt that you make Known unto Our Said Justices at the same day and place hereof fail not at your perill and have you then and there this Writt Wittness Charles Ballard Gentl Chief Judge of Our Said Court the third day of July in the Seventh Year of Our Dominion ann Dom 1722 Alexand Hall Clk Att which said third tuesday of august to witt the day of the same month ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and twenty two Being the day of the return of the said Writt Cometh the Said Richard Holland by Francis Allen his attorney and the Sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing Writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following vizt attached the full value in the hands of adam Spence Jun.r P me Robert martin Sherr Before Quantam Bratton and Mathew Hopkins And the said Adam Spence Jun Garnishee of the afd Edward Pladwell by George Dashiell his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c and prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and hath it & the same day is given to the plft also Att which said next Court to writt the twentieth day of November ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty two Comes againe the Said parties by this attorneys afd and the said Adam Spence by his Said attorney prays further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the plft also Att which said next Court to witt the Nineteenth day of March ann Dom One thousand seven hundred & twenty two Comes again as well the Said Richard Holland as the Said Adam Spence by their attorney afd and the said Adam Spence by his said attorney prays further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the plft also Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of June ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three Comes againe as well the said Richard Holland as ye said Adam Spence by their attorneys afd and the said adam Spence by his said attorney prays further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it & the same day is given to the plft also (at) |
