14 the back part of her left Arm about the size of a Dollar and about 4 or 5 inches above her elbow and also a very small scar on her left cheek and no other notable marks which I can discover In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the Public seal of my Office this 29th day of June Anno Domini 1807 Tho Richardson Clk On the 29 of June 1807 a copy of the following was delivered to Negro Lender The State of Maryland Caroline County to wit whereas a certain Negro woman by the name of Lender was manumitted by mr Wm Summers of said County on the 6 Nov 1804 to be free from the date of said manumission and whereas the said Lender made application to me for a Certificate of her freedom and from the affirmation of M.r Seth Hill Evitts that she is the identical person who was manumitted as afd I Certify that the afd negro woman is about 5 feet ^and one^ ½ Inch hig yellow complexion aged about 40 years was raised in the County afd has a large scar on his wright hand between her thumb and wrist and no other notable marks which I can discover In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and affix the public Seal of my office (seal) the 29 June 1807 Tho Richardson Clk |
