   Att a Court held for Kent County att the Court house on Chester River in the Town
   of Chester In Said County on the Nineteenth day of August and Continued the
   twentieth Twenty first and Twenty Second days of the Same month in the —
   fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles absolute Lord and Proprietarie
   of the province of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &ca. —
   Annoque Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen   before

    Mr. Marmaduke Tilden takes his place & Sitts on the bench——

   Richard Smithers produces to this Court a Habeas Corpus from the Proventiale
   Court the Same bears date the twenty fifth July last returnabel to the Provll
   Court the third Tuesday in September next.   Signed Vachel Denton Clk Tho
   Bordley attry and also was Subscribed as folls vizt. (allowed of pr me Wm Holland)
   The Same being for the moveing a Cause now depending in our Said Court ——
   undetermined at the Sute of Benjamin Griffiths against The afd Richard
   Smithers Trespass on the Case: The Same being read was allowed of
   and ordered to be made out accordinly

      Mr. Samuel Groom of this County brings a negro boy Called Pomppy
   to have him adjudged on view of the Same It is Considered by the
   Court here vizt this Nineteenth day of August Anno Domini one ——
   Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen That the afd Negro boy is twelve
   Years old

    The Acts made last assembly being Sent to the Court wch. the Sherf
   is ordered to publish directly which was done accordingly ———

    The Rates of Licquers and other ordinary Accomodations Continued
   as last yeare
    Laughlin Flinn William Glanvill and Abraham Ambrose all of
   this County comes into Court in their proper persons they and every of —
   them Acknowledges themselves indebted to his Lord Ship his heirs and
   Successors in the Sume of One Thousand pounds of Tobacco Conditionally
