[94] [June] Court [1718] [illegible] Clossie in the fear of God then and there being [illegible] and the Said Garret Clossie did then and there beat [illegible] So that of his Life it was despaired and other harms [illegible] [against] the Peace of our Sd Lord propr. his Rule and Dignity &c [illegible] Lydia Harper Garrett Clossie Johnson pr Dno propr. [Billa] vera pr Abram. Redgrave foreman [And] the afd Hans Hanson being Solemnly Called came and in his proper person appeared in Court and the afd Indictment being read to him Saith that he cannot gainsay the Same and Submitts to the Court on Same Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz. this nineteenth day of June Anno Donimi one thousand Seven hundred and eighteen that the afd Hans Hanson pay the Summ of five Shillings Sterling money for his offence afosd. and also pay the Sume of Three hundred Eighty four pounds of Tobacco Cost accruing on the premises afd The afd Hance Hanson being bound in Recognizance for his appearance Any time the Court Sitts The afd Hance in his proper person appars to the Same Ordered by the Court here that his Recognizance be discharged Hance Hanson afd his Recognizance taken this Court as by the first of this Courts proceedings may appear in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterlg: for his apce. any time this Court to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him and to be of good behaviour &ca. This Court here discharges the Same Recognizance no person Shewing any cause to the Contrary Roger Cannaday & Peter Debruler both of this County at the Same time afd as Suretys entered into Recognizance in the Sume of five pounds Sterlg each for the appearance of the afd Hance Hanson to Answer as afd & to be of good behaviour This Court here discharges the Same Recognizance Each of them Ordered by this Court that he enter into Recog for apce. to next Court & good behavr. in the meantime Hance Hanson afd comes into Court and Acknowledges himselfe Indebted to his Lordship his heires and Successors in the Sume of Tenn pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he doe not make his person appeance at the next Court to be held for Said County and in the meane time to be of good behaviour and Especially to Garret Clozier wherewith he acknowledges himselfe Content Likewise William Pope and William Smith both of this County here in Court comes and Acknowledges themselves Indebted to his Lord Ship his heires and Successors in the Sume of five pounds Sterling each to be Leveyed on their goods & Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the afd Hance Hanson doth not apr. as afd & to be of good behaviour as afd wherewith they Acknowledge themselves Content |
