90 June Court 1718 Thomas Cooke afd Enter into Recognizance in the Sume of Twenty pounds Sterling for his appearance this Court and to Answer &ca. and to be of good behaviour &ca. And no person Shewing any cause why the Same Should not be discharged The Court here discharges the Same Jacob Glenn & Peter Williams both of this County entered into Recognizr at the Same time afd in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterling cash for the appce of the afd Thomas Cooke as afd and to Answer as afd &ca. This Court here discharge the Same Recognizance each of them &ca —— ordered by the Court here that the afd Thomas Cooke be kept in Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give Surety for his appearance to next Court And then to answer unto a Certain Indictmt. found against~ him for Councilling [?] and pertaking of A Certain^felonywith a Certain Robert~. Lynch &ca. Timothy Slauter and Evide. against the afd Thomas Cooke ordered to Enter into Recognizance for his appearance to next Court Timothy Slauter afd Comes into Court and acknowledges himselfe Indebted to his Lord Ship his heires & Successors in the Sume of five pounds Sterlg to be Leveyed on his goods & Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally that~ if he do not make his personall appearance at the next Court as an Evide. against the afd Thomas Cooke wherewith he is Content~ Thomas Hughs an Evide. against Same be Committed into Custody of the Sherf of Said County untill he Should give his Evidence agst Same &ca. now the afd Thomas in his proper person apprs. to Same This Court Orders that he be discharged &ca. Thomas Hughs afd is discharged from the Said Committment~ ordered by the Court here that the afd Thomas Hughs Enter into Recognize for his appearce to next Court as an Evide for his Lordship against Thomas Cooke and also that he give Surety for the Same Thomas Hughs afd comes into Court and acknowledges himselfe Indebted to his Lord Ship his heires and Successors in the Sume of five pounds — Sterling to be Leveyd on his goods & Chattells Lands and Tenements Condition: :ally that if he do not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County as an Evidence for his Lord Ship against the afd Thomas Cooke wherewith he acknowledges himselfe Content~ Michael Byrne Surty for the afd Thomas Hughs acknowledges himselfe indebted to his Lordship his heires and Successors in the Sume of five pounds Sterling to be Leveyd on his Lands and Tenements goods & Chattells Conditionally that if The afd Thomas Hughs Shall not appeare at the next County Court to be held for Said County as an Evide afd against the afd Thomas Cooke — wherewith he acknowledges himselfe Content~. |
