   And the afd Deft by Michael Howard his attry appeared to the above
   Accõn and prayd liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court
   which was granted the Same day was given the Plt~ in like manner
     Att which Said next Court vizt. the Seventeenth day of June Anno Domi
   one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen Came the afd Plt by Thomas —
   Bowne his attry and the Said Deft~ by Michael Howard his attry and the
   Said Plt~ by his Said Attry having not fild his Decln according to the Rule
   of Court made in relation thereto on which the Said Deft put in a norcupiatur
   to ye Plts Decln vizt   Norcupiatus to the Plt Decln M Howard attry pr Deft.
   and the afd being argued on both Sides and mature deliberation being by
   the Court thereupon taken Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt.
   this Eighteenth day of June Annoqe Domini One Thousand Seven hundred
   and Eighteen That the afd Plt~ James Smith take nothing by his writ afd
   and that the afd Henry Munk go thereof without And that the afd Henry
   Munk Recover against the Said James Smith the Sume of Two hundred
   and Eighty four pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Deft. about his defence in this
   behalfe Expended and layd out according to the forme of the Statute &ca

   Ann Anderson | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
           at | twenty third day of November in the third year
   John Atwicks | of his Lord Ships Dominion &ca. That he take John

   of Kent County in the province of Maryland Planter if he Should be found in
   his Bailwick & him Safe keep So that he have his body before the Justices
   of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in
   Said County to Answer unto Anne Anderson of a plea that he render hir the
   Sume of Two Thousand & four hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable Leafe
   Tobacco clear of Trash and Ground Leaves in Seasoned Cask of the value of Twenty
   four pounds Sterling which from him he unjustly detains &ca. And that he have
   then and there the Said writ &ca    .    Att which Said next Court vizt. the Eigh:
  :teenth day of March the Same Year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ
   came Simon Wilmer Gent~ high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof
   in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr S:Wilmer Sherf
   And A Declaration being filed when Said writ Issued Which folls vizt.
