   Rule is given to the afd Defts to plead to the afd Scire facias before the —
   Court rises otherwise Judgment~ to be rendered the Defts by Michael —
   Howard their attry puts in a plea to the Same and thereupon the Same

of a plea that he render him the Just an full Sum
   of five hundred and fifty pounds of good Sound Maranable Leafe Tobco Clea[r]
   of Ground lafes and all manar Trach and Cask to Contain ye Same of ye price
   or value of five pounds Sterlg which from him he unjustly detains &ca
      And whereupon the afd Plt. by Thomas Bowne his Attorney Saith
   that Whereas the afd Deft~ the nineteenth day of January in the year of our
   Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred & fourteen at St. Pauls Parish
   in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his certain bill obligatory
   which he the Said Deft Sealed with his Seale and as his deed delivered
   hereinto Court brought the date whereof is the Same day and year afd bound
   himselfe his heires Execrs. Administrators or assignes to pay to ye afd Plt~
   the afd Just an full Sum of five hundred and fifty pounds of good —
   Sound Marchantable leafe Tobo. Clear of Ground leafes and all manner
   Trach and Cask to Contain ye Same of ye afd value of or price of five pounds
   Sterlg at or upon the tenth day of October next Ensuing the date of the
   afd bill obligatory yet the afd Deft altho? often required the Aforesaid
   Sume of five hundred and fifty pounds of Tobo. of the value or price of
   five pounds Sterlg afd to the Said Plt. hath not paid but that to him to render
   or pay the Said Deft~ hitherto hath denied & Still doth deny & unjustly detain~
   to the damage of him the Said Plt~ one Thousand pounds of Tobacco and —
   thereupon he brings Sute &ca.       TBowne pr Querr plds Jno & Rd Roe
   And the afd Deft~ In his proper person appeared to the afd Accõn and prayd —
   liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court which was
   granted the Same day was given the Plt~ in like manner
     Att which Said next Court vizt. this Eighteenth day of June Annoqe
   Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen came the afd Deft~
