   Same George in and upon the next Monday after the making and perf[ecting]
   the Said writing obligatory and in the afd Condition above mentioned that
   is to Say o the            day of            in the year afd at Kent County afd in
   the Jurisdiciõn of this Court did begin well and truly to work for the Said
   Amos at all Such Ship Carpenters work as the Said George was Capable
   of or ye Said Amos required of him according to the best of his the Said
   George Skill & Cuning and So then and there for the Space of Eleven
   days Continued and remained in the Said Amoses work and Service for
   So long as the Said Amos desired required or imployed the Said George
   therein and further that the Said George always and at all times from
   the time of Executeing & perfecting the afd writing obligatory unto
   this time was and yet is ready well and truly to work for the Said —
   Amos at any Sort of Ship Carpenters work to the best of the Said Georges .
   Skill & Cunning the remaining part of the afd one hundred and nine
   days & a half day in the above Condition mentioned when he the Said
   George Should by ye Said Amos or his the Said Amoses order be thereto
   ordered or required and untill the Said one hundred and nine days
   & one half day were Expired and to do ye Same work at all times —
   neat & well which the Said George According to the Same Condition
   above mentioned was and ought to have done according to the forme
   & Effect of the Same Condition But that he the Said George by the Said
   Amos or his order was not thereto ordered or required which the Said —
   George is ready to verefie wherefore he prays Judgment if the afd Amos
   his Accõn afd against him to have & maintaine ought &ca.

   And the afd Plt by his attry putting in no replycation to the afd plea —
   rule is given to the Same by this Court that the afd Plt. by his attry file
   a replycation with the Clarke of this Court to the plea afd Twenty days -
   before the next Court in Course otherwise Judgment to be given for the
   Said Deft that the Said Plt. to be Non Suted in the Accõn afd And —
   thereupon the Same cause is Continued untill the then next Court in Course
   Att which Said next Court vizt. this Eighteenth day of June Anno Domini One
   Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen Came the afd Deft. by his afd Attry
   but the afd Plt by his Said Attry hath not filed any Replycation as by the
   rule last Court was Enjoyned :    Therefore it is Considered by the Court here
   vizt. the Same day last mentioned That the afd Plt Amos Garrett take
   nothing by his writ & declaration afd but that he and his pledges of pro=
  :secuting be in mercy and that the afd Deft George Hill go thereof without
   day and also that the afd George Hill Recover against the Said Amos
   Garrett the Sume of four hundred and three pounds of Tobacco Cost by the
   afd Deft about his Sute in this behalfe Expended according to the forme of the
   Statute &ca.   .   .
