   day of March Instant whereof he is Convict as appears upon Record as also the Sume
   of Three hundred and Twenty pounds of Tobacco Cost~ of Sute as also together with the
   Sume of forty Six pounds of Tobacco additionall Cost~ hereof faile not at your perill &
   have yo. then and there this writ witness Nathaniel Hynson Gent~. chiefe Jsutice
   of our Said Court this Twenty first day of March in the third year of our Dominion
   &ca. Anno Domi. 1717

   Domi One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen) came Simon Wilmer Gent~
   high Sherf. of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon——
   Endrosed as folls vizt. Satisfacõn Recd Simon Wilmer Sherf ———
   Christopher Bateman | Charles absolute Lord & Proprietarie of the
                 at | Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron-
   Laughlin Flinn—— | of Baltemore &ca. To the Sherf of Kent County .

greeting wee Command you that yo. take the body
   of Laughlin Flinn if he Shall be found in your Bailywick and him Safe keep
   So that you have his body before the Justices of our next County Court to be held
   at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third Tuesday in—
   June next to Satisfie unto Christopher Bateman of Kent County Taylor as well the
   Sume of Three hundred and Thirty pounds of Tobacco Cost on Non Sute by the afd
   Christopher Recovered against the Said Laughlin before the Justices of our Said
   Court on the Twentieth day of March Instant whereof he is Convict as appears
   upon Record as also together with the Sume of forty Six pounds of Tobacco ——
   additionall Cost hereof faile not at your perill and have yo. then and there this writ
   witness Nathaniel Hynson Gent~. chiefe Justice of our Said Court his Twenty first~
   day of March in the Second Year of our Dominion &ca Anno Domi: 1717

Province aforesd Planters if they Shall be found
   in his Presincts & them Safe keep So that he have have his body before his
   Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town
   of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Simon Wilmer Sheriff of Said County of
   a plea that they render him the Sume of Eight Thousand pounds of Good Sound
   Merchantable leafe Tobacco in Cask to Contain the Same of the value of
   Thirty four pounds Sterling money wch. from him they unjustly detain &ca. and -
