Tobacco Craftily to deceive and defraud the Said Sums of two pounds
nineteen Shillings and three pence Currant money of Maryland and one
thousand two hundred and fifty two pounds of Merchantable Tobacco the
Same Deft. to him the Sd Pltff. hath not paid nor made Content for the Same
Altho’ to pay the Same he the Sd Deft: the afosd twenty Second day of November
In the year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen at
the Parish County & Jurisdiction afosd. was thereunto required But he the
Said Deft. the aforesd Summs of two pounds nineteen Shillings and three pence
Current money of Maryland and one thousand two hundred and fifty two
pounds of Merchantable Tobacco to the Said Pltff. to pay or Content for the
Same hitherto hath denyed and Still doth deny to the damage of him the Said
Pltff. five pounds eighteen Shillings and Six pence of like money afosd. and two
thousand five hundred and four pounds of like Tobacco afosd. and thereupon he
brings Sute &c TBowne pr Querr. plds Jno Doe & Rd Roe
