Harris and his associates then Justices of ye peace for our Said Lord Proprietarie for the County afd in Court Judicially Sitting then held for Kent County afd in a Cause . then and there depending Between Alexander Williamson Clarke Principall - vestry man & his Brethren vestry men of S.t Pauls Parish in Kent County afd Plts and Thomas Cooke of Kent County Planter alis Dics Thos Cook Planter of Kent County in ye Province aforesd Deft~ ye Sd Plts Recovered Judgment against the Said Thomas Cooke as well for the Sume of one Thousand two hundred pounds of Tobacco Certain Debt whereof he is convict as appears upon Record as also the Sume of Three hundred and Twenty four pounds of Tobacco Cost of Sute and for that Execution have not~ thereupon yett Issued wee Therefore Command you that by good and Lawfull men- of your Bailywick you make known unto the Said Thomas Cooke that he be & appear before ye Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third Tuesday in March next to Shew cause if any he have why Execution Should not Issue forth against him for the Debt & Cost In the Judgment afd Specified and how y.o Shall Execute this writ that you make known unto the Justices of our Said Court at the day and place afd hereof you are Not to faile at~ your perill & have y.o then & there the names of the persons before whom you Shall make the Same known & this writ Witness Nathaniel Hynson Gent~. chiefe Justices of our Said Court this 23d. day of November in ye Second Year of our Dominion &ca.
