   54                   June Court 1718
   then the Said Plt. Shall make restitution of the afd goods and Chattells or
   the value thereof

   William Rock — | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
           at | Twenty first day of March in the Second Year of his Lord
   William Woodland | Ships Dominion &ca. That he take William Woodland


of Kent County Planter if he Should be found in his —
   Bailywick & him Safe keep So that he have his body before the Justices of~
   our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in
   Said County to Answer unto William Rock of a plea of Trespass of the Case.
   and that he have then and there the Said writ &ca.
      Att which Said next Court vizt. the Seventh day of June Annoq .
   of Said writ Came Simon Wilmer Gent~ high Sherf of Said County &
   made returne thereof in these words thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi
   Corpus S:Wilmer Sherf
    And the afd Plt. by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that as the afd Plt —
   being no resident that Surety be taken that if the Plt Should be cast in the
   Said Accõn that the Cost might be Satisfied by Some person in the County and
   that it may be Entered which is granted on which Thomas Bowne afd Comes
   into Court and Saith that if the afd Plt Should be Cast in ye afd Accõn that then
   he will Pay the Cost to the Said Deft~ if the afd Plt~ Should not pay it~
   himselfe —
    And the afd Plt~ by his afd Attry Prays that the afd Deft may give .
   Special baile to the afd Accõn which is granted and that he be kept in
   Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give Speciall
   baile as afd
    After which Abraham Redgrave Senr. and Peter Jones both of Said County .
   comes into Court and acknowledges themselves and either of them as Special baile
   in the above accon and they and either of them doth undertake the payment of the .
   Damages afd & Cost if it Shall happen that the Plt Shall obtaine Judgment agst. ye
   Said Deft~. in the afd Accõn of Trespass on the Case And the Said Deft the Condemna:
  :tion Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County delivr
   or that the afd Abraham Redgrave and Peter Jones or either of them the body
   of the Said Deft Shall not render &ca.
    And the Said Deft. by Michael Howard his attry appears to ye afd Accõn—
   The Same Cause is Continued
   Henry Hendrickson- | Dt. 2130lb Tobo. Cepi the Deft being Solemnly called came not~
             at | on wch. the Sherf assigned the baile bond ——
