   County Planter was attached to answer unto William Mackey of a plea of Trespass
   on the Case And whereupon the af^d Plt^f by David Macbride his attorney Compla:
   =ineth for that whereas the af^d. Def^t. the twenty Sixth day of February in the year
   of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen at S^t pauls parish
   in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted to the af^d plt^f
   in the Sum or Quantity of Six hundred pounds of merchantable^^Tobaccofor Eighteen –
   Bushells of Indian Corn and one Bushell of Wheat by the af^d Def^t. from the af^d
   Plt^f. and to the proper Use and behoofe of the af^d Def^t. before that time had and
   Received as in an Account hereunto annexed Sett forth, and so thereof being indebt=
   ed the af^d. Def^t. afterwards viz^t. the af^d. twenty Sixth day of february in the year af^d.
   at the parish County and Jurisdiction af^d. in Consideration thereof upon himself
   assumed and to the Said plt^f then and there faithfully promised that he the said
   Def^t the af^d Sum or Quantity of Six hundred pounds of Merchantable tobacco
   to the af^d. plt^f when thereunto Required would well and truely pay and Content and
   whereas also the af^d Def^t. afterwards viz^t. the af^d Twenty Sixth day of february in
   the year af^d at the parish County and Jurisdiction af^d and the af^d plt^f had accounted
   together Concerning Eighteen Bushells of Indian Corn and one Bushell of wheat
   to the said plt^f by the said Def^t. before that time due and unpaid and upon that accounting
   the af^d Def^t. was found in arrearage to the Said plt^f in the sum of Quantity of Six hund=
           of merchantable Tobacco
   red pounds^ and so thereof being found in arrearage the af^d Def^t. in Consideration there=
   of afterwards viz^t. the af^d. Twenty Sixth day of February in the year af^d. at the parish
   County and Jurisdiction af^d upon himself assumed and to the Said plt^f then and there
                                                                                                                         faith
