Chief Justice of our said Court this 29th: day of July in the fifth year of our Dominion Annoq Domi 1720 TBowne pr Qurr Jams Smith Clk On the Back of the preceeding Attachment was Endorst as folls vizt. To the Justices within mentioned I Certify that by virtue of the within mentioned Writt to me directed on the twelth day of August in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and Twenty at the County and Jurisdiction within mentioned I have attacched of the Goods and Chatles rights and Chredits of the within mentioned Josiah Richardson before Good and Lawfull men of my Bailiwick, vizt, in the hands of Hermonius Schees before John Radford and John Wyatt one thousand pounds of Tobacco of the value of four pounds [illegible] Shillings and four pence Currant money of Maryland and in the hands [of] William Thorton before John Hall and John Turner the sum of four hun= dred pounds of Tobacco of the value of one pound thirteen Shillings and four pence Currant money afd. And in the hands of John Greenwood Three hundred and thirty three pounds of Tobacco before John Hall and Samuell Norris of the value of one pound Six Shillings and six pence to satisfy the within men= tioned Edward Mitchell in part of the within mentioned Thirteen pounds Thirteen Shillings and Eight pence Currant money in the within Writt mentioned and of seventeen hundred pounds of Tobacco in the within writt^alsomentioned and have the Same here ready to be Condemned accorind to as in the said writt mentioned to the Use of the within mentioned Edward Mitchell and have also at the time and place above mentioned made known unto the said Hermanius Schees before John Radford and John Wyatt and to the same William Thornton before the said John Hall and John Turner and to the said John Greenwood before John Hall and Samuell Norris all Good and Lawfull men of my Bailiwick that they be and appear before the Justices within mentioned at the time and place within mentioned to shew Cause if they or any of them have why the said Goods and Chatles Rights and Credits attached as afd. should not be Con= demned as the^sdwrit requireth &c pr Gidn Pearce Sherf Whereupon the Said Edward Mitchell by his Attorney afd. Prays that upon giveing Security according to according to Act of Assembly the Severall Sums^afdso as afd. Attached in the hands of the Severall persons afd. may be Condem= ned in the hands of the said persons as of the Goods and Chatles Rights and Cred= its of the afd. Josiah Richardson towards Satisfying unto him the said Edward as well part of his Damages Recovered in the plea afd. as part of his Costs and Charges accrueing by occasion of the premisses afd. &c: And whereupon the said severall persons altho Severally and Solemnly Called |
