   538                                     August Court 1720
   Requireth and Exacteth To answer &ca       pr Gidn Pearce Sherf —
        And the afd Deft. Comes into Court and in his proper person appears to the
   above Scire facias and saith that he Cannot Gainsay the same but is willing
   that Judgement Should be Entered for the Debt and Cost in the Scire facias above
   mentioned amounting to five thousand four hundred and Seventeen pounds of
   Tobacco and one pound Sixteen Shillings Currant money. Therefore it is
   Considered by the Court here vizt. the 17th day of August anno Domi 1720 That
   for the afd. Sum of five thousand pounds of Tobacco and one pound Sixteen Shil[:]
   lings Currant money afd. Debt in the Judgement afd Specified as also for
   the afd. Sum of four hundred and Seventeen pounds of Tobacco Costs in the
   Judgement afd. Specifyed which in the whole amounts to five thousand
   four hundred and Seventeen pounds of Tobacco and One pounds Six[teen]
   Shillings Currant money the afd Pltf have thereof Execution against the said
   Deft. as also for the sum Three hundred and Sixteen —————
   pounds of Tobacco Costs by the afd. pltf about his prosecuteing the afd writt of
   Scire facias laid out and Expended &c

of Baltemore &c To the Sheriff of Kent County
   Greeting Wee Command you that you Attach any the Goods Chatles Rights and
   Credits of Josiah Richardson late of Kent County Merchant if they Shall be
   found in your Bailiwick to the value of Thirteen pounds Eighteen Shillings
   and Eight pence Currant money of the province afd. and Seventeen hundred
   pounds of Tobacco and when you have the Same So attached or any part there
   of the Same in your Custody safe keep So that you have them before the Justices of
   our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in said
   County on the third teusday in August next then and there to be Condemned ac=
   cording to act of assembly to and for the Use of a Certain Edward Mitchell un=
   less the said Josiah Richardson by himself or his Attorney shall appear &
   answer unto the said Edward Mitchell in a plea of Trespass on the Case according
   to law and that by Good and Lawfull men of your Bailiwick you make known
   unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the Same Attachment
   that he she or they be and appear before the Justices of our said Court to be
   held as afd. to shew Cause if any he She or they have why the same Goods —–
   Chatles Rights or Credits^Soattached in his her or their hands ought not to be
   Condemned according to Law if to him^heror them it Shall Seem meet and how you
   Shall Execute this Writt You make known unto our Said Justices^atthe day
   and place afd. and have you then and there this Writt Witness Nathll: Hynson
