August Court 1720 537 one thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen before Edward Scott Gent and his associates Justices for the said Lord Propry for the County afd Judicially Sitting then held for Kent County afd. in a Cause then and there depending Between William Granger of the afd County and province Cordwinder pltf. and Thomas Cook of Kent County Planter als Dics. Thos. Cooke of the County of Kent in the province of Maryland Planter Deft. The said William Granger pltf Recovered Judgement against the said Deft. as well for the Sum of five thousand pounds of Tobacco and one pound Sixteen Shillings Currant money a Certain Debt whereof he is Convict as appears upon Record as also the sum of four hundred and Seventeen pounds of Tobo: Cost of Suit and for that Execution have not thereupon yet Issued wee therefor Command you that you by good and Lawfull men of your Bailiwick make known to the Said Thomas Cook that he be and appear before our Justi= [ces] of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third Teusday in August next to shew Cause if any he have why Execution Should not Issue forth against him for the Debt afd. and Cost in the Judgement afd. Specifyed and how you shall Exe= =cute this Writt That you make known to the Justices of our said Court at the day and year afd. Here of You are not to fail at Your Perill and have You then and there the names of the persons before whome you shall make the Same known and this writt Witness Nathll Hynson Gentn Chief Justice of our Said Court this 29th day of July in the fifth Year of our Dominion annoq Domi 1720.
