   Kent County in Maryland. The Jurors for the Right honourable the Lord
   Propry: of the province of Maryland that now is and the Body of Kent County
   on their oath do present that whereas a Certain Charles Hill late of South Sas:
   Safrax lower hundred Servant of a Certain Francis Collins late of South Sassa
   frax Lower hundred afd. Cordwinder the ninth day of may in the year of
   our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Twenty at South Sassafrax
   Lower hundred afd. for Suspicion of the prepense malicious and felonious burn[:]
   ing of the Court house of our Sd Ld Propry: in the Town of Chester in Kent County
   afd: was taken and Arested and afterwards vizt. the ninth day of may in the
   Year afd. att South Sassafrax Lower hundred afd: in Shrewberry parish in
   Kent County afd and within the Jurisdiction of this Court by William Comegys
   Gentleman then and now at this present time one of the Justices of our Said
   Lord proprietary the peace of the County afd. to keep as also diverse felonies
   Trespasses and other Misdemeanours in the County afd Done to hear and
   Determine appointed, for the afd Suspicion of the afd: prepense malicious
   felonious burning of the Court house afd: by the afd Charles Hill Supposed to
   be done Examined then and there by the afd: William Comegys Gent into
   the Goal of our Sd Lord propry: in Kent County afd: in the Custody of Simon
   Wilmer Gentn then and now Sheriff of the County afd: there to remain and Safe:
   ly to be keept till what time According to Law and the Custome of our Said
                                    delivered he was
   Lord propry: he Should be^ Committed Nevertheless the afd. Charles Hill in the
   Goal afd. for the afd. Suspicion of the afd: prepense malicious burning
   of the Court house afd. So as is Sett forth under the Custody of the afd Simon
   Wilmer Gentn Sheriff of the County afd: then and there by Usual fo^rm of Law
   being the Eleventh day of July in the Year afd. the Sd Goal of our Sd Lord propry:
   in Kent County afd. at Chester hundred in St Pauls parish in Kent County
   afd. within the Jurisdiction of this Court feloniously did brake and^outof the Sd
   Goal in the Custody of the afd Simon Wilmer Gentn. Sheriff of the County afd.
   then and there last mentioned feloniously did go and Escape against the
   peace of our Sd Lord propry: his Rule and Dignity and against the form of
   an act of Assembly of this province now in force in Such Case made and
   provided                                               DMacbride pr Ld propry:
   Evid: Simon Wilmer Sher
                                              Billa Vera Abram Redgrave foreman
   And the afd. Charles Hill here present in Court being ordered to give Security
   for his Apearance to the next provinciall Court to be held for the province
   of Maryland at the City of Annapolis to answer unto the afd Indictment
   But the Sd Charles^Hillgiveing no Security This Court here Orders That Gideon
   Pearce Gentn present high Sheriff of the afd Kent County keep the afd Cha
