   afd: there to Remain and Safely to be keept till what time according to Law and the Custome
   of our Sd Lord propry. he Should be delivered he was Committed Nevertheless the afd Charles
   Hill in the Goal afd: for the afd: Suspicion of the afd: prepense malicious burning of the
   Court house afd. So as is Sett forth under the Custody of the afd: Simon Wilmer Gentn Sheriff
   of the County afd: then and there by Usual form of Law being the twenty Ninth day
   of May in the Year afd: the Goal of our Sd Lord Propry: in Kent County afd at Chester
   hundred in St pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court
   feloniously did brake and out of the Sd. Goal in the Custody of the afd Simon Wilmer
   Gentn. Sheriff of the County afd: then and there last mentioned felloniously did Go &
   Escape against the peace of our Sd. Lord propry: his Rule and Dignity and agst
   the form of an act of Assembly of this province now in force in Such Case made
   and provided
   Evidc: Simon Wilmer Sheriff                                     DMacbride pr Ld ppry:
        On the back fo the preeceding Indictment was Endorst as folls vizt:
   Billa Vera Abram Redgrave foreman
      And the afd Charles Hill here present in Court being ordered to give Security
   for his appearance to the next Provincial Court to be held for the Province of
   Maryland at the City of Annapolis to answer unto the afd: Indictment But
   the Sd Charles Hill giveing no Security This Court here Orders that Gideon
   Pearce Gentn present high Sheriff of the afd: Kent County keep the afd. Charles
   Hill in Safe Custody So that he have him at the afd provincial Court to be
   held as afd: to Answer Unto the Afd. Indictment and untill he Shall be there=
   from discharged according to due Course of Law.
           Simon Wilmer of Sd: County Gent here present in Court acknow=
   =ledges himself Indebted to his Lordship the Lord propry: of this province
   his heires and Successors in the Sum of five pounds Sterling money to be Levey:
   ed on his Goods and Chatles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he
   does not apear at the next provincial Court to be held for the province of
   Maryland at the City of Annapolis to Give his Evidence on his Lordships be=
   half against the Sd Charles Hill wherewith he acknowledges himself Content
   DM. His Lordship | The afd: Charles Hill being Committed the ninth day
             at | of May last by Mr William Comegys one of his
     Charles Hill      | Lordships Justices of the peace for Sd. County into the
   Custody of Simon Wilmer Gentn high Sheriff of Said County on Suspicion of
   Burning the afd County Court house and the Grand Jury Impannelled
   by the Sheriff of Sd County to this Court, The Same Grand Jury made pre=
   Sentment against the Sd Charles Hill for brakeing prison out of the Custody
   of the Sd Sheriff which presentment was by David Macbride Clerk of the
   Indictments for the Same County drawn into a Bill of Indictment which
