DM. Lordship —–	\|	This being an Action of Trespass on the
—–	\|	Case Commenced by the S^d Lord Prop^ry:
a^t	\|	against the Said Edward Dwire and where=
Edward Dwire	\|	in the Sheriff of Kent County to whome the writt
		in the S^d Action was directed makes Return to the Court

   here the third Teusday in June viz^t. the 21^st. day of S^d Month being the day of the
   Return of S^d Writt Endorst Cepi Corpus^^{p^r}Simon Wilmer Sheriff.
           Kent County Ss^t. The Jurors for the hon^ble: the L^d Propr^y: and the
   Body of Kent County on their oath do present that Edward Dwire late of ~~upper~~
   South Sassafrax hundred Yeoman the twenty the third day of December in the
   Year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Nineteen at South Sassa:
   frax upper hundred af^d. in Shrewsberry parish in Kent County within the Juris
   diction of this Court about Eleven of the Clock in the forenoon in the Same day
   the dwelling house of a Certain William Davis Carpenter at the hundred parish
   and County afd & within the Jurisdiction af^d did brake and Enter and three
   Rasors of the value of three Shillings Ster^g. one knife and fork of the value
   of twelve pence Ster^g. one pair of men’s leather Gloves of the value of [three?]
   Shillings Sterling of the Goods and Chatles of the S^d William Davis then and
   there being found felloniously did take and bear away against the peace
   of our S^d L^d Prop^ry his Rule and Dignity and against the form of an act of
   Assembly of this province now in force in Such Case made and provided

           On the Back of the preceeding Indictment was Endorst as foll^s viz^t.
        Billa Vera Abra^m Redgrve foreman.                 For want of The –
                          in the af^d Indictment
   the words Vi & Armis^ the Court Quashes the Indictment So that all pre=
   ceedings thereupon Cease but that he pay y^e fees thereon Amounting to two hundred [illegible]
   pds of Tob^o- Ordered that the S^d Edward Dwire Enter into Recognizance with
   Sufficient Securities for his appearance ~~here~~ at next Court to be held for S^d
   County on Suspicion of feloniously breaking up the house of a cer=
   tain William Davis and feloniously Stealing Goods out of the same
   upon which
                The af^d Edward Dwire acknowledges himself Indebted to his
   Lordship the L^d Proprietary of this province his heires and Successors in the
   Summ of Twenty pounds Sterling money to be leveyed on his Goods &
   Chatles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he does not make
   his personall appearance at next Court to be held for Kent County
   to answere Unto what Shall be objected against him on behalf of of his
   Lordship af^d. in relation to his feloniously breakeing the house and fel:
   loniously Stealing the Goods of the af^d. William Davis and in the mean
