June Court 1720 505 for the use of his Sd. Lordship his heires and Successors in the Summ of ten pounds Sterling each to be leveyed on their Goods and Chatles Lands & Tenements Conditionally that the Sd Edward Skinner did not appear and answer as afd. and that in the meantime he was to be of good behaviour and the Court Here discharges the Sd Recognizances each of them Ordered by the Court here that the Said Edward Skinner entered into Recognizance for his appearance unto next Court to answer unto a Certain Indictment against him for felloniously Stealing a horse the Goods and Chatles of a person unknown &c. and that in the meantime he is to be of good behavi= :our. Edward Skinner afd. here present in Court acknowledges himself Indebted to his Lordship the Ld proprietary of this province his heires and Successors in the Summ of twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his Goods and Chatles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he does not appear and answer the afd Indictment and Stand and abide the determination of the Court there= upon and that in the mean time he be of good behaviour wherewith he acknow= ledges himself to be Content John Wals and James Wyat both of Sd County planters here present in Court acknowledge themselves indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietory his heires & Successors of this province^ in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterling each to be leveyed on their Goods and Chatles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that^ifthe Sd Edward Skinner & the afd Indictment ^ doe not appear^ answer^ as afd. and that in the meantime he Shall be of good behaviour and they acknoweldge themselves to be therewith Content
and that in the mean time he Shall be of good behaviour David Ford afd present here in Court acknowledges himself Indebted to to his Lordship the Lord propriatory of this province his heires and Successors in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his Goods and Chatles at next Court Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he does not appear^ and answer the afd Indictment and Stand and abide the Determination of the Court thereupon and in the man time to be of good behaviour wherewith he acknowledges himself to be Content.
