   Att which S^d next Court viz^t. the 21^st day of June anno Domⁱ 1720 Comes as well the
   S^d plt^f by his attorney af^d. as the Af^d. def^t by His S^d Attorney which S^d Def^t. by his attorney
   af^d. Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c. And the Same Attorney Saith that
   he is not informed by the Same Def^t of any answere for the Same Def^t. to the af^d. plt^f
   in the imparlance af^d Granted and nothing further thereupon Saith for which the af^d
   Plt^f remains against the af^d Def^t. thereupon undefended.    Therefore it is Con=
   Sidered by the Justices here the 28^th. day of July anno Domⁱ 1720 that the S^d
   Adam Brown Recover against the S^d. Thomas Massey as well the Summ of
   One thousand three hundred and pounds of Tobacco his Debt af^d. as also the
   Summ of two hundred and twenty Eight pounds of Tobacco ———
   — by the Court here adjudged to him for his Costs and Charges by him about his
   Suit in this behalf laid out and expended and the Def^t. in mercy &c

   Bown his Attorney Complains That whereas the af^d Timothy in his Life
   viz^t. the tenth day of January in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand
   Seven hundred and fourteen at S^t pauls parish in Kent County within the
   Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted to the S^d. plt^f. in the Sume of one hun=
   dred and Eight pounds of Merchantable Tobacco for one Levey of one Taxable
