DM. Thomas Massey —	\|	Browne adm^r. of all and Singular the goods &

   Chatles Rights & Creditts which were of Michaell Coulter merchant Dece
   eased at the time of his death who dyed Intestate as it is Said of a plea that he
   render him the full and Just Sume of one thousand three hundred and Sixty
   pounds of every way well Conditioned Leafe Tobacco Clear of all manner of
   Trash & ground leaves in well Seasoned Cask of the value of thirteen pounds
   Ster^g money which he unjustly Detaines     And whereupon the af^d. plt^f by
   Thomas Bowne his Attorney Saith that whereas the af^d. Def^t. the Sixteenth day of
   July in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen at
   S^t Pauls parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his
   Certain writing Obligatory which he the S^d. Def^t. Sealed with his Seal and as
   his deed delivered hereunto Court brought the date whereof is the Same day &
   year af^d. Granted himself holden and firmly bound unto the af^d. Michael Coutler
   in His lifetime assignes or Certain Attorney in the af^d. full and Just Summ of
   one thousand three hundred and Sixty pounds of every way well Conditioned Leafe
   Tobacco Clear of all manner of Trash and ground leaves in well Seasoned Cask
   to be paid unto the S^d Michael Coulter his heires Exec^rs: and Adm^rs. when there:
   unto required Yet the af^d. Def^t. altho often required the af^d. Summ of one thousand
   three hundred and Sixty pounds of Tobacco To the S^d Michael in his Life time or
   to the S^d Adam after the death of the S^d Michaell to whome Letters of Adm^on of
   all and Singular the Goods and Chattles Rights and Credits which were of
   the S^d Michael at the time of his death by Mathias Vanderheyden Gent De:
   puty Comissary for Cecill County on the fourteenth day of July in the year of
   our Lord Christ One thousand Seven hundred and Nineteen in Cecill County
   af^d. were lawfully Granted hath not paid, but that to the S^d Michaell in his
   Life time and to the S^d Adam after the death of the S^d Michaell he the S^d.
   Deft. to render or pay alltogether hath deneyed and the Same to the S^d Adam
   to pay Still doth deney and unjustly detaine to the damage of the S^d plt^f twenty
   pounds of^^likemoney Af^d. and in delay of the administration af^d. and thereupon
   he brings Suit and brings here into Court the Letters of Administration
   which Testify &c                           TBowne p^r Quer^r Plds Jn^o Doe

                And the af^d. Thomas Massey by David Macbride his attorney Comes
   and defends the force and Injury when &c and prays leave to imparle thereunto
   untill next Court and he hath it an the Same day is given the plt^f also.
                                         viz^t the 15^th day of March anno Domⁱ 1719
           Att which S^d next Court^ as well the S^d plt^f by his Attorney af^d. as the S^d Def^t
   by his Attorney, and the S^d Def^t. by his Attorney af^d. prays further leave to imparle
   hereunto untill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given the plt^f also.
