   TB. Addam Browne admr | Kent County Maryland Ss. Thomas Massy of Kent
        of Michll: Coulter. | County Planter als Dics. Thos: Massy of Sd Coty
                    at | Planter was Summoned to answer unto Adam
   DM. Thomas Massey —   | Browne admr. of all and Singular the goods &
   Chatles Rights & Creditts which were of Michaell Coulter merchant Dece
   eased at the time of his death who dyed Intestate as it is Said of a plea that he
   render him the full and Just Sume of one thousand three hundred and Sixty
   pounds of every way well Conditioned Leafe Tobacco Clear of all manner of
   Trash & ground leaves in well Seasoned Cask of the value of thirteen pounds
   Sterg money which he unjustly Detaines     And whereupon the afd. pltf by
   Thomas Bowne his Attorney Saith that whereas the afd. Deft. the Sixteenth day of
   July in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen at
   St Pauls parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his
   Certain writing Obligatory which he the Sd. Deft. Sealed with his Seal and as
   his deed delivered hereunto Court brought the date whereof is the Same day &
   year afd. Granted himself holden and firmly bound unto the afd. Michael Coutler
   in His lifetime assignes or Certain Attorney in the afd. full and Just Summ of
   one thousand three hundred and Sixty pounds of every way well Conditioned Leafe
   Tobacco Clear of all manner of Trash and ground leaves in well Seasoned Cask
   to be paid unto the Sd Michael Coulter his heires Execrs: and Admrs. when there:
   unto required Yet the afd. Deft. altho often required the afd. Summ of one thousand
   three hundred and Sixty pounds of Tobacco To the Sd Michael in his Life time or
   to the Sd Adam after the death of the Sd Michaell to whome Letters of Admon of
   all and Singular the Goods and Chattles Rights and Credits which were of
   the Sd Michael at the time of his death by Mathias Vanderheyden Gent De:
   puty Comissary for Cecill County on the fourteenth day of July in the year of
   our Lord Christ One thousand Seven hundred and Nineteen in Cecill County
   afd. were lawfully Granted hath not paid, but that to the Sd Michaell in his
   Life time and to the Sd Adam after the death of the Sd Michaell he the Sd.
   Deft. to render or pay alltogether hath deneyed and the Same to the Sd Adam
   to pay Still doth deney and unjustly detaine to the damage of the Sd pltf twenty
   pounds of^likemoney Afd. and in delay of the administration afd. and thereupon
   he brings Suit and brings here into Court the Letters of Administration
   which Testify &c                           TBowne pr Querr Plds   Jno Doe
                                                                                             Rd Roe
                And the afd. Thomas Massey by David Macbride his attorney Comes
   and defends the force and Injury when &c and prays leave to imparle thereunto
   untill next Court and he hath it an the Same day is given the pltf also.
                                         vizt the 15th day of March anno Domi 1719
           Att which Sd next Court^ as well the Sd pltf by his Attorney afd. as the Sd Deft
   by his Attorney, and the Sd Deft. by his Attorney afd. prays further leave to imparle
   hereunto untill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given the pltf also.
