   450                                  March Court 1719
   the year afd at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd was Indebted to
   the afd Plt in the Sume of one pounds one Shilling & Six pence
   Currant money of Maryland for the like Sume of money by the
   afd Plt for the use & behoofe of the afd Deft to Severall persons
   at ye Instance & request of ye Sd Deft paid & disbursed and So thereof being Indebted the
   afd Deft In Consideration thereof afterwards (viz) the afd twenty third day of
   August in the Year afd at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd upon
   himselfe assumed & to the Said Plt then & there last mentioned faith:
   fully Promised that he the Said Deft. the afd Sume of one pound one
   Shilling & Six pence to the Said Plt. when thereunto afterwards
   he Should be required would well & truly pay & Content and that
   whereas also the afd Deft afterwards (viz the twenty third day of
   June in the Year of our Lord Christ. one Thousand Seven hundred
   and Sixteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn
   of this Court In Consideration that the afd Plt. at the like Special
   Instance & request of the afd Deft. had paid for the Said Deft &
   to the proper use & behoofe of the afd Deft. Severall Sumes of money
   amountin in the whole to Seven Shillings & Six pence Currant
   money of Maryland as by an Accot. hereto Annexed upon himselfe
   assumed and to the Said Plt. then & there Last mentioned faith:
   :fully promised that he the Said Deft the afd Sume of Seven
   Shillings & Six pence to the Said Plt. when thereunto he Should
   be required would well & truly pay & Content And that Whereas
   also the afd Deft. afterwards vizt. the twenty Second day of February
   in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and
   Sixteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn
   of this Court In Consideration that the afd Plt at the like Special
   instance and request of the afd Deft had then and there last mentioned
   paid to the Said Deft. and to the proper use & behoofe of the afd
   Deft. by the hands of a Certain William Braikin [?] the Sume of one
   pound two Shillings & Six pence Currant money of Maryland upon
   himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt. then and there last mentioned
   faithfully promised that he the Said Deft. the afd Sume of one pound
   two Shillings & Six pence to the Said Plt. when thereunto required
   would well & truly pay & Content Nevertheless the afd Deft his —
   Promises and Assumptions afd in form afd made as to the afd Severalls
   Sumes of money Amounting in the whole to three pounds nine
