    444                             March Court 1719
   Laughlin Flinn of this County brings his Servt. man named
   Edward Spargo to have him adjudged for runaway time and
   Charges in takeing Up the Said Edward comes into Court and Saith
   that he Cannot gainsay but that he runaway from his Sd —
   Masters Service Sixteen days and the Said Master prays he
   may be allowed for the Charges in takeing him up Therefore
   it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the 21st. day of March
   Domi 1719 That the Said Edward Spargo at the Expiration of
   his now Service he Serve^his Said Masterone hundred and Sixty days for the
   time he absented in forme afd Confessed as also Att the Expriation
   of the Said days to Serve on Six months it being for the Charge
   his Said Master was at in takeing him up

of a plea of Trespass on the Case
      and Whereupon the afd Gilbert Falconar by Thomas Bowne
   his attry Complains that whereas the afd John Jones the Nineteenth day of
   March in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred & Sixteen at
   St. Pauls Parish in Kent County with in the Jurisdiciõn of this Court
   In Consideration that the Said Gilbert Falconar at the Special
   Instance and Request of the Said John Jones would pay to a Certain
   Thomas Tolley or order five hundred pounds of Tobacco at twelve
   Shillings Current money of Maryland pr hundred upon himselfe
   assumed and to the Said Gilbert Falconar then and there faithfully
   promise that he the Said John Jones would pay unto the Said Gilbert
   in one months time after the Said Nineteenth day of March the Sume
   of five hundred pounds of Tobacco in good Tobacco or that if he the Sd
   John Jones Should not pay to the afd Gilbert Falconar in months —
   time after the Said Nineteenth day of March the Said Sume of five
   hundred pounds of Tobacco in good Tobacco that then he the Said John
   Jones would pay to the Said Gilbert Falconar as much Tobacco as
   at the rate of Eight Shillings a hundred Should Amount to the Sume
   of three pounds Currant money of Maryland in November next
   Ensuing the afd Nineteenth day of March And the afd Gilbert Indeed
                                                                                                     Saith
