                                              March Court 1719                                       439
   his promises and assumptions afd as to the Sume of one Thousand one hundred
   and Seventy Seven pounds of Merchantable Tobacco Residue little Regarding
   but plotting and fraudulently Intending him the Said Plt of the afd Sume of
   one Thousand one hundred and Seventy Seven pounds of Merchantable —
   Tobacco Craftily to to Deceive and defraud the Said Sume of one Thousand
   one hundred and Seventy Seven pounds of Merchantable Tobacco the
   Said Deft. to him the Said Plt. hath not paid nor made Content for the
   Same altho’ to pay the Same he the Said Deft. afterwards viz the Twenty
   Second day of Aprill in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven
   hundred & Sixteen at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd was thereunto
   required but he the Said Deft the afd Sume of one thousand one
   hundred & Seventy Seven pounds of Merchantable to the Said Plt.
   to pay or Content hitherto hath denyed and Still doth deny to the
   damage of him the Said Plt. Two Thousand pounds of Merchantable
   Tobacco and thereupon he brings Suite &ca
                                                      TBowne pr Querr Plds Jno Doe & Rd Roe
      and the afd Plt by his Said Attry prayd that the Said Deft.
   might give Special baile to the afd Accõn which was granted &
   that the Sherf of Kent County keep the afd Deft in Safe Custody
   untill he Shall give Special baile as afd and thereupon
   the Said cause was Continued untill the then Next Court
        Att which Said next Court to wit the 16th. day of June Anno
   Domi 1719 comes the Said Plt. by his Said Attry afd as also the
   Said Deft in Custody of the Sherf of Said County and the
   Same cause was Continued untill the then next Court
     Att which Said next Court to wit the 18th Day of August —
   Anno Domi 1719 comes againe as well the Said Plt by his Sd
   Attry as also the Said Deft in Custody of the Sherf of Said County
   and ye Same cause was Continued untill the then next Court.
     Att which Said next Court to wit the 17th day of November Anno
   Domi 1719 comes againe as well the Said Plt. by his Said Attry as also
   the Said Deft. in Custody of the Sherf of Said County and the Same
   cause was Continued untill the then next Court.
      Att which Said next Court to wit the 21st. day of March Anno
   Domi 1719 comes againe as well the Said Plt. By his —
   attry afd as also the Said Deft in Custody of the Sherf of
