   by the Justices here to wit the 19th day of March Anno Domi 1719 That the
   afd William Becks Plea is adjudged good And that the Demr afd is
   not good and Sufficient in Law And that the Said Indictment
   be held for naught and that all proceedings therein Cease &ca.

   Laughlin Flinn brings a negro boy to have his age adjudged
   the negro boy is called Charles Mingo on View of the Same It is
   Considered by the Justices here that the Said Negro boy is thirteen
   Years old ——

body of Kent County on their Oath do present George Gleaves

late of Morgans Creek hundred Planter the Twentyeth day of

August in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred
   and Nineteen and at diverse other times & Places at Morgans Creek hundred
   afd in Shrewsberry Parish in Kent County and within the Jurisdiciõn of this
   Court the fear of God before his eyes not having but by the Instigation of the
   Devill Adultery did Committ with a Certain Elizabeth Marsey wife of a
   Certain Thomas Marsey to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the evill
   & pernicious example of others against the peace of our Said Lord Propr.
   his Rule & dignity and against the Peace of our Sd Lord Propr. his Rule
   & dignity and against the form of an Act of Assembly of this province now
   in force in Such Case made & provided                 D Macbride pr Dnõ Proprie
   Evides. John Walls & John Hudson —–
   on the back of the preceeding bill was Endorsed as folls vizt. Billa Vera Abram
   Redgrave foreman
   and now here at this Court to wit the 21st day of March Anno Domi 1719 comes
   the Said George Gleaves And Says that he is no ways guilty of the premises
   afd and for tryal puts himselfe on^God &the Country      George Gleaves in prpr prson
   And he who follows for the Lord propry. in like manner Say?th he is Guilty

   The Clk of the Indictments prays that the Sd George Gleaves may enter
