   DM John Vincent | This being an accõn of Trespass on the Case Comenced
             at | by the Plt. Agst. the Said Deft And wherein the Sherf
     Daniel Roach      | of Kent County to whom the writ in the Same accõn
   was directed makes return thereof to the Court here on the third —
   tuesday in March to wit the 15th day of the Same month Anno —
   Domi 1719 being the day of return   Endorst Cepi Corpus pr me Simon
   Wilmer Sherf
   Kent County | Daniell Rooche late of Kent County Planter was attached to
           in | Ss   answer unto John Vincent of a plea of Trespass on the Case
     Maryland    | and Whereupon the afd Plt by David Macbride his


attorney Complains for that whereas the afd Deft the –
   twenty Second day of February in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand
   Seven hundred and Nineteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County with
   the Jurisdiccõn of this Court In Consideration that the afd Plt at the —
   Special Instance and request of the afd Deft had then and there Sold and
   delivered unto the afd Deft and to the proper use and behoofe of the afd
   Deft diverse wares Goods and Merchandizes at the Severall rates & prices
   in account hereto annexed particularly Sett forth in the whole amounting
   unto four hundred and one pounds of Merchantable Tobacco upon himselfe
   assumed & to the Said Plt then and there faithfully promised that he the
   Said Deft the afd Sume of four hundred & one pounds of Merchantable
   Tobacco unto the Said Plt when thereunto afterwards he Should be required
   would well and truly pay & Content and that whereas also the afd Deft
   afterwards vizt. the afd twenty Second day of February in the Year afd at
   the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd In Consideration that the afd Plt at the
   Special Instance & Request of him the Said Deft had then & there Sold &
   delivered unto the Said Deft & to the proper use & behoofe of the Said
   Deft. diverse wares Goods and Merchandizes in an Accot. hereunto annexed
   particularly Sett forth) upon himselfe assumed and to the Same Plt then
   and there faithfully Promised that he the Said Deft So much Merchantable
   Tobacco as the afd wares Goods & Merchandizes Sold & delivered as afd at the
   afd time of the Sale & delivery of the Same were reasonably worth unto the
   Same Plt when thereunto required would well & truly pay & Content and the afd
   plt Indeed Saith that the afd wares Goods & Merchandizes at the afd time of
   their Sale and delivery at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd were —
   reasonably worth & Amounted to four hundred and one pounds of Merchble
                                                                                                          Tobacco
