   he the Said Deft Sealed with his Seale & as his deed delivered hereinto Court brought
   the date of which is the Same day & year afd granted himselfe holden & firmly bound unto
   the afd Plt in the Sume of Eight hundred twenty eight pounds of good Sound clean dry
   every way well conditioned Tobacco clear from trash or ground leaves of the
   value of eight pound Sterling money to be paid to the afd Plt whenever
   thereunto requested to the which payment well and truly to be made & done
   the afd Deft bound himselfe his heirs Exrs. & Admrs. to pay unto the afd Plt
   the afd Sume of one Thousand Six hundred fifty Six pounds of Tobacco of
   the quality of & value afd firmly by the bill obligatory afd and the afd Plt
   in fact Saith that the afd Deft hath not paid to the afd Plt the afd Sume
   of eight hundred twenty eight pounds of Tobacco of the Quality and value
   afd in forme afd as to him he ought to have paid according to the tenor
   and effect of the Said Bill obligatory by which occation hath accrewed to
   the Said Plt. to have & receive of the Said Deft the afd Sume of one
   thousand Six hundred fifty Six pounds of Tobacco of the quality & value
      afd Nevertheless the afd Deft the afd Sume of one Thousand Six hundred
   fifty Six pounds of Tobacco of the quality & value afd altho’ often thereunto
   required by the Said Plt at the Parish County & Jurisdiciõn afd he the Said
   Deft hath not rendered or paid but that to the Said Plt to render or pay
   hitherto hath denyed & Still doth deny & unjustly detains to the damage
   of the Said Plt Sixteen pounds Sterling & Thereupon he brings Suite &ca.

   Thereupon John Denning of Kent County Planter present here in
   Court undertakes for the Said Andrew Riddell that if in case the Said
   Henry Lowe Shall recover Judgment ag in the plea afd against the
   Said Andrew Riddell or that he the Said Andrew Riddell Shall be
   therein Convict that then he the Said Andrew Riddell Shall pay the
   Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his body to the Custody of
   the Sherf of Said County in Satisfaccon thereof or that the Said John
   Denning will do it for him
   and now at the Said Court to wit the 15th day of March Anno Domi 1719 comes
   the Said Deft and defends the force and injury when &ca. And Says that he
   cannot gainsay the Plt his accõn afd So as afd agst. him brought nor can
   he Say but that the Plt ought to recover his debt by Occation of the
   premises afd with Costs of Sute which the Said Plt does not gainsay
   Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the 15th day of March Anno
   Domi 1719 afd That the Said Henry Lowe Recover against the Said —
   Andrew Riddell as well the Sume of one Thousand Six hundred fifty
   Six pounds of Tobacco his Debt afd in forme afd Confessed as also the
   Sume of Three hundred and three pounds of Tobacco Afd by the Court
