   and the afd Deft in his proper person Comes and defends the force and Injury
   when &ca. and Prays leave to Imparle hereunto untill Court and he hath it
   And the Same day is given to the Plt also
      Att which Said next Court to wit the 17th day of Novembr Anno
   Domi 1719 comes again as well the Said Plt by his attry afd and the Said
   Deft in his proper person and Says that he Cannot gainsay the Plt his —
   Accõn afd So as afd against him brought nor can he Say but that the Sd
   Plt ought to Recover his Damages by Occation of the Premises afd to the
   Sume of Thirteen hundred fifty Three pounds of Tobacco and one halfe
   pounds of Tobacco and Cost Suite against him which the Said Plt does not
   gainsay Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the 21st day of
   November Anno Domi 1719 afd that the Said Gilbert Higginson
   Recover against the Said John Clayton as well the Sume of Thirteen
   hundred fifty Three pounds of Tobacco and one half pound of Tobacco
   Court here his Debt afd in forme afd Confessed as also the Sume of Three
   hundred Eighty Seven pounds of Tobacco by the Court here adjudged to him
   for his Costs and Charges by him about his Suite in this behalf laid out and
   expended and the Deft in mercy &ca.
