    370                                 March Court 1719           in the Town of Chester
   Att A Court held for Kent County at the Court house ^ on Chester River
   in the Said County on the fifteenth day of March and Continued the Sixteenth
   Seventeenth Eighteenth Nineteenth and one and Twentieth days of the Same
   month in the fifth Year of the Dominion of Charles absolute Lord and Proprietarie
   of the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &ca Anno

   Samuel Haggis (Son of Saml Haggis decd) being formerly bound by this
   Court to Sarah Jewers and afterwards She assigned the Same to John
   Atkins to perform what She was to do for the Said Samuel The Said Atkins
   appears in Court with the Said Samuel and alledges that the Said Samuel
   is not capable of taking the Learning that he was and to have and that
   as he Cannot take the Same The Said John Atkins is Still to do his —
   Endeavour and if he Cannot have the Said Samuel Taught the Said
   John Atkins is then to be Excused ——
   His Ld Ship | Recognize. taken by Mr. Lambert Wilmer one of his Ld
