Novembr Court 1719 351 at in paying the person where She lay Inn and trouble and disgrace to the house where She was delivered as also the Charge to the woman that delivered her Nathaniel Pearce of Kent County Gent. comes into Court and Saith that he will Pay the afd Sume of two hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco to the afd Mary Jackson or order for and in behalfe of the afd John Porter ordered by the Court here that the afd John Porter with Security enter into Recognizance to keep the afd Child from being any charge to the County as to his part being to pay half of the Charge in keeping and maintaining the Child afd that was delivered of the afd Mary Jackson on which the afd John Porter comes into Court and Acknowledges himselfe indebted to his Lord Ship his heirs and Successrs in the Sume of Eighty pounds of Tobacco for every month while the afd Child delivered of the afd Mary Jackson may be any ways Chargeable to the County Conditionally that if he Said John Porter Shall not pay unto the afd Mary Jackson the Sume of forty pounds of Tobacco for every month while the afd Child may be any ways Chargeable to the County wherewith he acknowledges himself Content Nathaniel Pearce of Kent County Gent. here present in Court Acknowledges himselfe Indebted to his Ld Ship his heirs and Successrs in the Sume of Eighty pounds of Tobacco^everytomonthbe Leveyed on his goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if the afd John Porter Shall not pay unto the afd Mary Jackson the Sume of forty pounds of Tobacco every month while the afd Child that was delivered of the afd Mary Jackson may be any ways Chargeable to the County wherewith he the Said Nathaniel Pearce Acknowledges himselfe to be therewith Content Nathaniel Pearce of Kent County Gent. here present in Court Saith that he will pay all the fees on the premises afd for the afd John Porter to the officers of this Court Jams Smith Clk
