      Michl Coulter — | by the Plt agst the Said Deft wherein the Sherf of

third tuesday in November to wit on the 17th day of
   Same month Anno Domi 1719 Endorst Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sher
   And the Plt by his attry afd not being Court The Court orders that the
   Deft appearance be taken and etnererd    And the Said Deft
                                                                                                     In his —
   proper person comes and defends the force and injury when &ca. And
   prays leave to imparle here untill next Court And he hath it the
   Same day is given the Plt also —————
   DM   Michael Hackett | This being an Accon of Debt for the Sume of
      .   .   .   . at .   .   .   . | 50lb ToboCommenced by the Plt agst. the Said Deft and
     prpr Solomon Bowdy | wherein there Issued a Copy of the Decln with the

writ in the Said Accõn And wherein the Sherf of
   Kent County to whom the writ in the Same accõn was directed makes
   return thereof to the Court here on the Third Tuesday in November to wit the
   17th day of Sd month Anno Domi 1719 Endorst Cepi Corpus Copy of Decln
   Served in time pr Simon Wilmer Sherf
      Whereupon At the prayer of the Plt by his attry afd is adjudged to
   give Special baile to the afd Accõn And that the Sherf of Kent County keep
   the Said Deft in Safe Custody untill he Shall give Special baile as afd
      Thereupon Henry Bowdy of Kent County Planter present here in Court
   undertakes for the Said Solomon Bowdy that in Case the Said Michael
   Hackett Shall Recover Judgment in the plea afd against the Said Solomon
   Bowdy or that the Said Solomon Bowdy Shall be therein Convict that then
   he the Said Solomon Bowdy Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon
   or render his body to the Custody of the Sherf of Kent County in Satisfaction thereof
   or that the Said Henry Bowdy will do it for him
   Kent County | Solomon Bowdy of Kent County Planter alias dicts Soloman
          in | Ss Bowdy of Kent County Planter was Summoned to Answer –
     Maryland     | unto Michael Hackett of a plea that he render unto him


the full and Just Sume of Six hundred and fifty pounds
   of Clean tobcco of the value of Six pounds ten Shillings Sterling money which
   from him he unjustly detains &ca —
           and whereupon the afd Plt by David Macbride his attry Saith
   that whereas the afd Deft the Nineth day of May in the year of our Lord
   Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen at Shrewsbury Parish in
   Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his Certain writing —
   obligatory which he the Said Deft Sealed with his Seale and as his deed
   delivered hereinto Court brought whose date is the Same day and Year
   abovementioned obliged himselfe his heirs Executors & Admrs to pay
