November Court 1719 331 Charles Milward [Son of Lovereign Milward decd.] being Sixteen years old chooses Samuel Merit his guardian
recognizance be discharged Joseph Crouch afd entered into Recognizance as afd in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed &ca. Conditionally that if he did not make his personall appearance at this Court and to answer unto what Should be objected against him on his Lord Ships behalfe and in the mean time he was to be of good behaviour and Especially to James Horsley wherewith he acknowledged himself Content and now at this Court no person Shewing any cause why the Same Should not be discharged This Court here discharges the Same Benjamin Blackledge of Said County at the Same Time before the Same Justice as Surety for the afd Joseph Crouch entered into Recoge. in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterlg. to be Leveyd &ca. Conditionally that if the Said Joseph Crouch doth not appear and answer as afd and that in the mean time he was to be of good Behaviour but especially to James Horsley This Court here discharges the Sd Recognizance William Woodland of this County brings a negro boy called Sambo to have his age adjudged to know when Levey must be paid for him on view of the Same It is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Negro boy is tenn years old Jams Smith Clk John Elis Acknowledges a deed gift to his Grand Son John Burrose [The Son of William Burrose and Jane his wife] for Three hundred acres of Land being part of A Tract Land called Ellis’s Chance Michl. Hacket of this County brings a negro boy called Pompey to have his age adjudged to know when Levey must be paid for him on View of the Same It is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Negro boy is Nine years old Jams Smith Clk Joseph Everit of this County brings a negro boy called Jemmey to have his age adjudged to know when Levey must be paid for him on view of the Same It is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Negro boy is Thirteen Years old Jams Smith Clk James Horsley and Mary Bateman Sworn as Evidences and Sent to the Grand Jury William |
