August Court 1719 319 Att which Said next Court to wit the Eighteenth day of November Anno Domi — 1718 comes againe as well the Said Plts by their Attry afd as also the Said Deft by her attry afd And the Same Action is Continued untill the then next Court Att which Said next Court to wit the Seventh day of March Anno Domi 1718 comes againe as well the Said Plts by their attry afd as also the Said Deft by her attry afd And the Same Action is Continued untill the then next Court Att which Said next Court to wit the Sixteenth day of June Anno Domi 1719 comes againe as well the Said Plts by their attry afd as the Said Deft by her attry afd And the comes and defends the force and Injury when &ca. and Saith that She doth not detaine from the afd Lord Proprietary and the Said James Harris who as – well prosecuteth for his Said LordShip as himself the afd two thousand — pounds of Tobacco of the afd value of twenty pounds Sterling or any part thereof in forme as the afd James Harris (who as well for his Said Lord: :Ship as himselfe prosecutes as afd | hath above against her Declared and of this She puts herself upon the Country &ca. MHoward pr Defends and the afd James Harris who as well for the Lord proprietor as for himself in this Case prosecutes in like Manner TBowne pr Pltf: —– Thereupon Command is given to the Sherf of Kent County that he Immediately Cause to come here twelve &ca. By whome &ca. Who neither &ca. To Recognize &ca. Because as well &ca. of which Said precept the Said – Sherf to wit Simon Wilmer Gent. now here at this day to wit the 16th day of June Anno Domi 1719 makes return that he hath here ready twelve &ca. As by his precept he was Commanded And now here afterwds to wit the day and year last mentioned comes againe as well the Said Plts by their attry afd as the Said Deft by her attry afd and the Jurors of – that Jury being Impannelled who being Called Likewise came to wit Thomas Christian George Aires Thomas Heborn Nicho Waterman John Ashley – John Rollinson Thomas Ricker Ebenezr. Blackiston Francis Lewis Richard West Edward Davis Thomas Piner who being duely Elected try’d and Sworn to Say the truth in the premises upon their Oath do Say that they find for the Plaintifs and that the Said Sarah Jewers doth detain from the Said Lord Proprietary and the Said James Harris who as well Prosecutes for his Lord Ship as himselfe the afd two Thousand pounds of Tobacco of the value of Six pounds five Shillings Sterlg. money in manner and former as the afd James Harris who as well for his Said Lord Ship as for himselfe prosecutes as afd hath above declared against her and find Damages thereupon fifteen pounds of Tobacco with Cost of Sute the deft by her attry afd moves |
