   and within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court the fear of God before his eyes not having
   but by the Instigation of the Devill being led did Committ fornication with
   a Certain Mary Holeager Spinster and thereby did begett a Child on the body
   of the Said Mary Holeager to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the
   evill and pernicious example of others against the peace of our Said Lord
   Proprietary his Rule and dignity and against the forme of an Act of
   assembly of this Province now in force in Such Case made and provided

   on the back of the preceeding Indictment was endorsed as folls vizt.

   and now at this Court to vizt. the 18th day of August Anno Domi
   1719 Came the afd George Mecay and in his proper person apprd
   to the afd Indictment and defends the force and Injury when &ca.
   and Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Indictment as afd but that
   he is guilty of Committing fornication as afd and thereupon
   Submitts to the Court on the Same Therefore it is Considered
   by the Court here vizt. the 19th. day of August afd That the afd George
   Mecay Pay the Sume of Thirty Shills. Currant money his fine according
   to Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and Provided for his offence of —
   Committing fornication afd as afd Confessed as also the Sume of one
   hundred and Ninety and Nine pounds of Tobacco Cost arising on the
   premises afd
   ordered that the fine afd be delivered the Sherf of Said County wch.
   was accordingly done

   Joseph Wright | the Court here that his Recognizance be —

discharged as also his Suretys for his appre
   Joseph Wright afd entered into Recognize at the time afd in the
   Sume of twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed &ca. Conditionally that if
   he did not make his personally appearance att his present Court
   and to Answer unto a Certain Indictment found against him for
   Stealing of Tobo. from a certain Richard Davis and that in the
   mean time he was to be of good behaviour And no person
   Shewing any cause to the Contrary why the Same Should not be
   discharged This Court here discharges the Same
   Francis Meeks and Thomas Winn Senr. at last Court Each entred
