                                      August Court 1719                                           313 
   with her which She denies but Saith that She Cannot gainsay the afd Indictmt.
   but that She Submitts to the Court. on the Same Therefore it is Considered
   by the Court here vizt. the 19th. day of August Anno Domi 1719 That the Said
   Tabitha Tanner have on her bare back thirteen^till theLashesbloodon herappearbare
   back for her offence afd as also pay the Sume of Three hundred and forty
   Seven pounds of Tobacco Cost arising on the Same
        It is Considered by the Court here the Same day last mentioned
   that the Sherf of Said County take the afd Tabitha Tanner to the
   whyping Post and there to Receive as in the Judgment afd and then
   to bring her into Court againe   After which the Sherf of Said County
   comes with the afd Tabitha and makes return of his precept in all
   things Served and Executed pr me Simon Wilmer Sherf ———
   ordered by the Court here That the Sherf of Said County keep the afd
   Tabitha in Safe Custody untill the fees afd Shall be paid —

   His LordShip | There being an Indictment agst him for Committing
             at | fornication and A Veniry Issued against him on the
   John Porter – | Same and the Sherf returnd the Same Summoned

But on his not appearing to the Same The Court
      orders that a Capias be Issued against him
   His LordShip – | His recognizance taken at last Court for his appear
           —— | at this Court and the afd Anthony in his proper
             at | person appears to the Same ordered by the Court
   Anthony Debruler | here that his Recognizance and his Suretys —

Recognizance be discharged
     Anthony Debruler afd his recognizance taken in the Sume of Tenn
   pounds Sterlg for his appearance to this Court and to answer unto a certain
   Indictment found against him for Committing fornication and that in the
   mean time he was to be of good behaviour And no person Shewing any
   cause why the Said Recognizance Should not be discharged on which this
   Court here discharges the Same
      William Debruler and George Aires Suretys for the afd Anthony
   at the Same time afd Entered into Recognizance in the Sume of five
   pounds Sterlg Each for the appearance of the afd Anthony and that
   he was to Answer as afd and in the mean time he was to be of good
   behaviour This Court here discharges the Said Recognizances each of them
      ordered by the Court here That the afd Anthony Debruler enter into
   new Recognizances with Surety to next Court. on which Anthony
   Debruler afd comes into Court and Acknowledges himselfe Indebted
   to his Lord Ship his heirs And Successors in the Sume of Tenn
