   and now at this Court to wit the 19th. day of August Anno Dom 1719 here
   present the afd Deft in proper person comes and defends the force and injury
   when &ca. And Says that he cannot gainsay the Plt. his accõn afd So as –
   afd against him brought nor can he Say but that the Said Plt ought to
   Recover his debtages by Occation of the premises afd to the Sume of Six
   hundred pounds of Tobacco and two barrells of Indian Corne which
   the Said Plt does not gainsay Therefore it is Considered by the
   Justices here the 19th day of August Anno Domi 1719 afd That the Said
   Owen Magragh recover against the Said Thomas Hart as well the
   Sume of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco as also two barrells of Indian
   Corne his Debt afd in forme afd Confessed as also the Sume of Two hundred
   and Ninety pounds of Tobacco by the Court here adjudged to him for
   his Costs and Charges by him about his Sute in this behalfe laid out
   and expended and the Deft in mercy &ca.

   His LordShip . | A Veniry Issued against the Said Tabitha
           at | Tanner on a certain Indictment found against
   Tabitha Tanner | her by the Grand Jury for Committing fornication

And the Sherf of Kent County to whom the Same
   was directed makes return to the Court here on the third tuesday in
   August to Wit the 18th day of the Same month Anno Domi 1719 being
   the day of return of Said precept Endorst Summoned pr Simon Wilmer Sherf
   Kent County Ss The Jurors for the Honble. the Lord Prory and the body
   of Kent County on their Oath do present that Tabitha Tanner Late of
   Langfords Bay Lower hundred Spinster in the County afd the Seventeenth
   day of August In the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred
   and Nineteen at Langfords Bay Lower hundred in the County afd and
   within the Jurisdiction of this Court the fear of God before her eyes not
   having but by the Instigation of the Devill being led, did Committ —
   fornication with a certain person to the Jurors unknown and thereby –
   did Suffer herself to be begott with Child to the high displeasure of
   Almighty God and the evill and pernitious example of others against
   the peace of our Said Lord Proprietarie his rule and dignity and against
   the form of an Act of Assembly of this Province now in force in Such
   Case made and provided &ca.

   on the back of the preceeding Indictment was Endorsed as folls vizt
   Billa vera pr Francis Barney foreman
     and now at this Court the afd Tabitha appears to the afd Indictment
   ordered by the Court here That She prove what person Committeed fornication
