   276                                  June Court 1719
   of Assembly of this Province now in force in Such Cases made and provided
   Evide. John Denning Constable                 DMacbride pr Dno propr.
   on the back of the Preceeding bill of Indictment was endorsed as folls
   vizt. Copia vera Ffrancis Barney foreman—
   The afd Sarah in her proper person aprs. to the Same on which the
   Indictm.t afd being endorsed as afd The which is adjudged not good nor
   Sufficient in Law Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt.
   This 18th day of June Anno Domi 1719 That for the falt[?] of the Endorsmt
   of the Said Indictm.t The afd Sarah Nicholson be therefrom acquit but
   that She pay the fees arising on the Same amounting to the Sume of
   two hundred forty five pounds of Tobacco
    ordered by the Court that She be in custody untill She Satisfie the
   fees on the premises afd
   Wm Glaspin of the afd County planter in Court here present undertakes
   for the afd Sarah Nicholson the payment of the fees on the premises afd and
   the afd Sarah is therefrom acquitt

          at | to which he aprs and Saith he is not guilty and for
   Joseph Wright | tryal puts himself on God & the Country —

   appearance to next Court to Answer &ca.
    Joseph Wright afd here present in Court Acknowledges himselfe Indebted
   to his Lord Ship his heires and Successors in the Sume of Twenty pounds
   Sterling to be Leveyed on his goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements
   Conditionally that if does not make his personall appearance at the
   next Court to be held for Said County And to Answer unto a Certain Indictmt
   against him for feloniously taking one hundred pounds of Tobacco the
   goods & Chattells of a Certain Richard Davis of the County and that in–
   the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith he acknowledges
   himself Content
   Francis Meeks and Thomas Winn Senr. Acknowledges themselves —
   indebted to his Lord Ship his heires & Successors in the Sume of Tenn–
   pounds Sterling Each to be Leviyed on their goods and Chattells Lands
   and Tenements Conditionally that if the afd Joseph Wright does not appear
   and Answer as afd and that in the mean time he is to be of good –
   behaviour wherewith they acknowledged themselves to be therwith
