   Each to be Leveyed on their goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements Condi
   :tionally that if the afd George Mecay does not appeare and answer as afd
   and that in the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith
   the acknowledge themselves Content.
   His Lord Ship | The afd William Committed into the Custody of the
           at | Sherf of Said County at last Court on Accot of haveing
   Wm Usherwood | been charged of begetting a Child borne of a Certain Mary [Marg?]

Hussey as She proved on her Oath taken before Mr Lambt
   Wilmer one of his Lord Ships Justices of the peace for Said County before her
   death the Said William being a Servant at the time of the Said Child
   begott So that he is obliged in Such a Case to be answerable for half the
   Charge in bringing up the Said Child The afd Child delivered of the afd Mary
   was by this Court ordered to the Care of a Certain Joseph Rye of Said County
   and was ordered to bring the Same Child to this Court   And now here
   at this Court the afd Joseph Rye being present And the afd William
   Usherwood appears here in Court And the Court orders that he pay
   one Thousand pounds of Tobacco for his part for the keeping of the
   afd Child as well for the time the Said Joseph hath kept the Same as also
   untill the Same Shall come to the age of twenty one Years the which
   he is to pay to the afd Joseph Rye   And also the Court to allow the Said
   Joseph Rye one Thousand pounds of Tobacco in the next Levey for
   the part the woman Should have paid if She had lived on which
   the Said Joseph Rye on the Consideration afd assumes here present in
   Court that he will keep the afd Child from the County
   And This Court here binds the afd Child called Benjamin Hussey to the
   afd Joseph Rye untill he Shall arrive at the age of twenty one Years
   And The afd Wm Usherwood is by This Court here discharged from any farther
   trouble on Accot of the Same Child
   His Lord Ship | His Recognize taken at last Court for his appearance

   objected agst him as a reputative father of a Certain Child Sworn to him by
   a Certain Eliza Lock Serv.t to Peter Green of this County This Court here dis:
  :charges the Same Recogniz.e
     Likewise Gilbert Falconar of Said County Mercht. Entered into Recoge.
   at the Same time afd in the Sume of tenn pounds Sterlg &ca. for appearance
   of the afd James Dill and to answer as afd This Court here discharges the
   Same Recognizance
        and a Certain Ann Green Mistris of the afd Elizabeth Lock being
   Sworn to declare what She heard the afd Eliza Lock at the time of her
