   Eighty foure pounds of Tobacco his debt afd in forme afd Confessed as also the Sume of two
   hundred thirty Seven pounds of Tobacco by the Court here adjudged to him for his Costs
   and Charges by him about his Suite in this behalf laid out and expended And the
   Deft in mercy &ca ———

      Wm Edwards | County to whom ye Sd writ was directed makes return

   to witt the 16th day of the Same month Anno Domi 1719 being
   the day of return of Said writ Endorst Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf
   The afd Plt here present in Court proved^hisAccot against the Said —
   Deft. for the Sume of 5L:9s:[0?]d
   whereupon at the Prayer of the Plt by his attry the Deft is adjudged
   to give Special baile to the Accon afd : Thereupon William Simson of
   Said County Taylor present here in Court undertake for the Said Willm
   Edwards that in Case the Said James Rae Shall recover Judgment in
   the plea afd against the Said William Edwards or that he the Said
   William Edwards Shall be therein Convict that then he the Said
   William Edwards Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon
   or render his body to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County in——
   Satisfacion thereof or that the afd William Simson will do it for
   him
        and the afd Deft by David Macbride his attry comes and defends
   the force and injury when &ca. And prays leave to imparle hereunto
   untill next Court And he hath it And ye Same day is given to the Plt also
   TB: Ann Anderson | This being a Capias ad Satisfaciendum for ye Sume
