    Gilbert Falconar | This being an Accon of Trespass Commenced by
             at | the Plt against the Said Deft wherein there

   Said County to whom the Same was directed makes return thereof to the
   Court here Endorsd. Cepi Corpus Copy Declaration Served in time

   Kent County Ss George Gleaves Jnr. of Kent County Planter alis Dics George
   Gleaves Junr. of Kent County in the Province of Maryland Planter was —
   Summoned to Answer unto Gilbert Falconar of a plea that he render
   him the the Sum of two Thousand foure hundred and Seventy two pounds
   of good Sound Merchantable Tobacco Clear of all trash and Ground Leaves
   of the value of twenty four pounds Sterling money which from him he
   unjustly detains &ca.   .   .   .   and whereupon the Said Plt by Thomas
   Bowne his Attry Saith that Whereas the afd Deft the third day of
   February in the Year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven hundred
   and Seventeen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County within the Jurisdiciõn
   of this Court by his Certain bill obligatory which he the Said Deft Sealed
   with his Seale and as his deed delivered hereinto Court brought the date
   whereof is the Same day and year afd Bound and obliged himselfe his
   heirs Execrs and Admrs. in the afd Sume of two Thousand four hundred
   and Seventy two pounds of good Sound Merchantable Tobacco Clear of all
   trash and Ground leaves of the afd value of twenty four pounds Sterling
   money for the true payment of one Thousand two hundred and thirty —
   Six pounds of good Sound Merchantable Tobacco Clear of all trash and —
   Ground Leaves in Casque to Containe the Same to the Same Plt Convenient
   in Said County at or upon the tenth day of 9ber. next Ensuing the date
   of the Said Bill and the afd Plt. in deed Saith that the afd Deft hath not
   paid to the afd Plt the afd Sume of one Thousand two hundred and thirty —
   Six pounds of Tobacco at or upon the afd tenth day of 9ber. which to him at
   or upon the Same day he ought to have done according to the forme and
   Effect of the Said Bill by which Action hath Accrued to the afd Plt to .
   Exact and have of the afd Deft the afd Sume of two Thousand four
   hundred and Seventy two pounds of Tobacco Yet the afd Deft altho’ often
   required the afd Sume of two Thousand four hundred and Seventy two pounds of
   Tobacco to the Said Plt. hath not paid but that to render or pay he hath—
   altogether denied and Still doth deny and unjustly detaine to the damage of
   the afd Plt forty Eight pounds Sterling money & thereupon he brings Sute &ca.
   Whereupon at ye prayr of ye Plt by his attry afd ye Deft is adjudged to give Spl baile to ye Accõn afd
   and the Said Deft in his proper person comes and defends the force and –
   injury when &ca. and Says that he cannot gainsay the Plt his Accõn afd So as
