    222                                   March Court 1718
   as folls vizt. By vertue of the within writ to me directed I Certifie to the
   Justices within mentioned that I have Attached of the goods Chattells —
   Rights & Creditts of the within named Edward Warner the Sume of twelve
   hundred pounds of Tobacco of the value of Six pounds Sterling money in ye
   hands of William Graves and have the Same here ready to be Condemned
   according to Law to the use of ye within named John March And have made
   known to the Same William Graves Before Oliver Higginbotom & William
   Hopkins good and Lawfull men of my Bailywick that he the Said William
   Graves be and appear at the time and place within mentioned to Shew
   Cause if any he have why Condemnation of the Same Should not be made
   according to Law as the within writ Exacteth & require pr Simon Wilmer Sherf
    and now at the Said Court came the afd Plt by Thomas Bowne his attry
   and prays Condemnation of the afd twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco in
   the hands of the Same William Graves and the Same William Graves be
   Solemnly called came not nor any person in his behalf Doth Shew any -
   cause to the Contrary why the Same Should not be Condemned Therefore it
   is Considered by the Court here viz this twentieth day of March Annoq
   Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen That the afd twelve—
   hundred pounds of Tobacco as the Rights & Credits of the afd Edward Warner
   in the hands of the afd William Graves be Condemned to the use of the afd
   Plt John March and that he have thereof Execution &ca. He the afd Plt —
   giving Securty as the Law directs upon which James Smith of Said County
   here in Court acknowledges himself as Surety for the afd Plt That is to Say if
   the afd Deft Shall within a year and day from granting the afd writ of Attachmt
   by himself or his attry come and appear to the orriginal Accõn and make
   it appear that the Demanded afd is Satisfied or any part thereof Shall discompt
   that then the afd Plt Shall make restitution of the afd Twelve hundred —
   pounds of Tobacco or the value thereof –
