   the afd Sume of Eight hundred pounds of Tobacco to the Said Plt to pay or Content—
   hitherto hath denyed and Still doth deny to the damage of him the Said Plt two —
   Thousand pounds of like Tobacco afd & Thereupon he brings Sute &ca.

   And the afd Deft being called came and the afd Pltf by his afd attry prays that
   the Said Deft may give Special bail to the afd Accon which is granted and that
   he be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give
   Special bail as afd
     And the afd Deft Saith that he cannot gainsay the accõn afd of him the Said
   Pltf nor but that he is Indebted to the afd Plt the Sume of Eight hundred —
   pounds of Tobacco and is willing that Judgment Should be entered for the—
   Same and Cost thereon accruing Therefore it is Considered by the Court here
   vizt. this Twentieth day of March Anno Domini One Thousand Seven——
   hundred and Eighteen That the afd Plt James Harris do recover against
   the Said Deft John Jones as well the afd Sume of Eight hundred pounds
   of Tobacco Damages as also the Sume of Six hundred Seventy five pounds
   of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his Sute in this behalfe Expended and by
   the Court here of his assent adjudged And the Said Deft in mercy &ca

           at | Sherf of Kent County greeting wee Command you that you
   Edward Warner | attach any the goods Chattells Rights or Credits of Edward —

Warner late of Kent County Merchant if they Shall be found
   in your Bailywick to the value of four pounds Six Shills and three pence Sterling
   money and five hundred pounds of Tobacco and when y.o have the Same So attached
   or any part thereof the Same in your Custody Safe keep So that y.o have them before
   the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of
   Chester in Said County on the third Tuesday in March next then and there to be
   Condemned According to Act of Assembly to & for the use of a certain John March un[:]
  :less he the Said Edward Warner be himselfe or his attry Shall appear and answer unto ye Said
   John March in a plea of Trespass upon the Case According to Law and that by good & Lawfull
   men of your Bailywick you make known unto the person or persons in whose hands you
   make the Same Attachment that he She or they be and appear before the Justices of our
   Said Court to be held as afd to Shew cause if any he She or they have why the Same goods Chattells
   rights or Creditts So Attached in his her or there hands ought not to be Condemned According
   to Law if to him her or then it Shall Seem meet and how you Shall Execute this writ that
   you make known unto our Said Justices at the day and place afd and have y.o then & there this writ
   witness Nathaniel Hynson Gent chiefe Justice of our Said Court this Twenty Second day
   of November in the fourth Year of our Dominion &ca. Anno Domini 1718

   mentioned the day of return of Said writ came Simon Wilmer Gent high—
   Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed
