   have his body before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held -
   at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto John
   Young of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and that he have then and there
   the Said writ &c^a
      Att which Said next Court viz^t. the Eighteenth day of November the Same year
   last mentioned the day of return of Said writ ccame Simon Wilmer Gent high
   Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these wordsthereon endorsed as
   foll^s viz^t. Cepi Corpus p^r Simon Wilmer Sher^f
      and a Declaration being filed when Said writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof —
   Served therewith according to Act of assembly in Such Cases made was as foll^s viz^t.
   Kent County Ss William Woodland of Kent County Planter Stands attached to ——
   answer unto John Young of a plea of Trespass upon y^e Case
      and whereupon the afd Plt by Thomas Bowne his att^ry Complains for
   that whereas the afd Deft the Nineteenth day of Feb^ry in the Year of our Lord Christ one
   Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen in S.^t Pausl Parish in Kent County within
   the Jurisdiciõn of this Court was indebted to the Same Plt in the Sume of foure
   hundred and Sixty four pounds of Merchantable Tobacco for divers Services by the
   afd Plt for the afd Deft at the Instance and request of the Same Deft then and -
   there done and performed and being thereof Indebted the afd Deft afterwards viz^t.
   the Same day and year afd at the parish and County afd within the Jurisdiciõn afd
   in Consideration thereof upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt then and —
   there last mentioned faithfully promised that he the Same Deft the afd —
   Sume of ffour hundred and Sixty four pounds of Tobacco to the Same Plt when
   thereunto required would well and faithfully pay and Content and that whereas
   also the afd Deft afterwards viz^t. the Nineteenth day of in the Year afd at the
   parish County and Jurisdiciõn afd In consideration that the afd Plt at the like
   Speciall Instance and request of the afd Deft had then and there last
   mentioned done and performed divers Services for the afd Deft to the
