     142                                  August Court 1718
   Mary Chambers Servt. to Mr. William Frisby of the afd County She being -
   Convicted of having Committed fornication with a Negro and having been delivered
   of two Molato Childrens as by the Records for the Same may more fully appear
   on which Conviction She became indebted to ye County Seven Years Service
   And her time of Service to her afd Master being Expired and She being in
   Court And Mr. William Frisby also the Court offers her to him for the time
   afd for the Sume of Eighteen hundred pounds of Tobacco the which he
   Accepts And Assumes to pay to this County the Sume of Eighteen hundred
   pounds of Tobacco to be paid the Ensuing Year for the afd Mary —
   Chambers Service And the afd Mary Chambers to Serve the afd Mr.
   William Frisby the Seven Years Service as afd
   The Lord propry | The afd Thomas Cooke at last Court being Committed
             at | into the Custody of the Sherf of Said County for
   Thomas Cooke — | his apce. to this Court The afd Thomas Cooke in his

proper person appears appears in Court ordered
   by the Court that the afd Thomas be there from discharged
      The afd Thomas Cooke being Committed as afd and that he was to
   appear at the^then nextCourt to Answer unto a Certain bill of an Indictment
   found against him for feloniously takeing from a Certain Robert Lynch
   of the goods and Chattells of a Certain William Pope This Court here
   discharges the Same Thomas Cooke from the Said Committment

   Timothy Slauter an Evide agst Same comes into Court and in his proper
   person appears to the Same ordered by the Court here that he be
   discharged from his Recognizance
    Timothy Slauter being bound in Recognizance at last Court as an
   Evide. on his Lord Ships behalfe agst. The afd Thomas Cooke in the
   Sume of five pounds Sterlg to be Levey’d &ca. Conditionally that if he
   did not appear at this Court to Give his Evide and now at this Court
   the Court here discharges himf from his Said Recognizance
   Thomas Hughs Entered into Recognizance as an Evide agst. the Same
   comes into Court And in his proper person appears to the Same ordered by the
   Court here that he be discharged from his Recognizance as also his Surety Recoge.
   for his appearance be discharged
   Thomas Hughs afd being bound in Recog at last Court as an Evidence on
   his Lord Ships behalfe against the afd Thomas Cooke in the Sume of five
   pounds Sterling to be Leveyd &ca. Conditionally that if he did not appear at this
   Court to give his Evidence as afd This Court here discharges him from—
   the Same Recognizance
